Counting accounts only ever punished people for journaling properly, so it was dropped. What the free plan still caps is the two things that cost us money each time they are used: 30 imports a month and 25 MB per uploaded file. A subscription lifts both.
Add another account
Create a trading account from the account switcher, then import trades for that broker, prop firm or sim setup.
Archiving
Archiving keeps an account's history but hides it from the switcher. It is a tidiness tool rather than a way to free up a slot, since there are no slots. You cannot unarchive an account after you archive it.
Keep asset classes apart
Put stocks, options and futures in separate trading accounts. Mixing them in one account distorts your statistics.
