RizeTrade helps TradeZero traders review short-side urgency, especially when an extended stock looks so obvious that patience and entry quality start disappearing.

01TradeZero

“It Has to Drop” Can Become a Dangerous Setup

A stock looks extended. The move feels unsustainable. You expect the pullback.

Then it keeps pushing.

The next short feels even more attractive because the stock is more extended than before. If that trade stops, the third entry can feel more certain again.

The market may be stretched. That does not mean every short is valid.

02TradeZero

Review Each Short on the Chart

RizeTrade lets you return to the session and see your entries and exits directly on the chart.

You can compare the first short with later attempts and ask whether the trigger improved or whether frustration simply increased.

That makes short-side FOMO visible in a way a fill list cannot.

03TradeZero

Catch Missed-Move Compensation

TradeZero traders often focus on fast movers. Missing the first clean entry can create pressure to make the next one count.

That can lead to worse prices, larger size, or more aggressive entries on the next symbol.

Track missed moves as part of the journal. They are often the invisible trigger behind the trade you actually took.

04TradeZero

Separate Conviction From Certainty

A good short setup can still fail.

RizeTrade helps you track when confidence becomes certainty and starts changing size, stops, or re-entry behavior.

You may find that your worst short sequences happen not when the setup is weak, but when you become too sure price must eventually agree with you.

05TradeZero

Tag “Extended” Before You Enter

If being extended is part of your short thesis, record what that actually means before the order.

The journal can then show whether your best shorts come from a repeatable condition or from a vague feeling that price has gone too far.

That distinction is especially useful after repeated failed attempts. The stock may become more extended, but your entry quality can still become worse if frustration is driving the timing.

Ask Trading Mentor AI

Ask:

  • How do repeated short attempts perform?
  • What happens after I miss the first entry?
  • When do I increase share size on shorts?
  • Which emotions appear before my most aggressive trades?

Trade the setup. Do not trade the need for the stock to prove you right.

How it works

Three steps, then the reviewing starts. No spreadsheet, no manual entry.

  1. 1

    Bring your history in

Connect TradeZero or upload a CSV export. Executions are matched into trades automatically — partial fills and multi-leg options included.

  2. 2

    Tag what happened

Setup, emotion, rule followed, stop and target. A few fields per trade is enough to make the review meaningful later.

  3. 3

    Review the patterns

Filter by any variable and compare. The reports show which setups pay, which habits cost, and whether you followed your own plan.

Questions

Do you store my TradeZero password?
No. RizeTrade never stores broker credentials, and never places, modifies or touches an order in your account. The connection is read-only.
How do I get my TradeZero trades in?
Connect the account for automatic sync, or export a CSV and upload it. Either way your existing history comes in on the first import, not just trades from today onward.
Does it handle options and futures?
Yes. Verticals, condors, butterflies and diagonals are grouped as single positions rather than loose legs, and expired contracts close themselves. Futures carry their own multipliers and tick sizes.
What if I have years of history?
Import it all. A longer record makes the reports more useful, because patterns in setups, times of day and rule-breaking only become visible across a large sample.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can import your history and see your own numbers before committing.

Stop guessing. Review your trading.

Your TradeZero history already contains evidence of what you do well and where your process breaks down. RizeTrade helps you see it.
