The target is an account objective. It is not a trading signal.

RizeTrade helps Topstep traders review when the evaluation starts influencing the trade, especially as they get close to a target or try to recover from a losing day.

Do Not Trade the Number You Need

When you are close to a target, a normal setup can feel more important than it is.

One trade could finish the evaluation. A mediocre setup starts looking good enough. Contract size feels easier to justify because the finish line is visible.

The market does not know how close you are. Your rules should still decide whether the trade exists.

See the Account Pressure on the Chart

RizeTrade lets you revisit historical executions directly on the chart.

You can review the trade you took near the target, the loss that changed the session, and the recovery attempt that followed.

The important question is not whether the account passed that day. It is whether the process you used is one you would want to repeat after passing.

Catch Recovery Trading Before the Limit Does

A loss inside an evaluation carries extra pressure because there is a known boundary.

That can make traders speed up precisely when they should slow down.

Track what happens after the first loss: contract size, re-entry time, setup quality, and trade count. You may find that most damage happens well before the formal account limit becomes relevant.

Build Personal Rules That Are Stricter Than the Account

Your own maximum trade count, daily loss, and stopping rules should protect your process before firm rules have to protect the account.

RizeTrade helps you see where decision quality usually drops, so your personal boundary can be based on behavior rather than hope.

Review the Trade You Took Because You Were Close

Trades near an evaluation milestone deserve their own tag.

You may discover that getting close to the objective changes your behavior in one of two directions. Some traders force a trade to finish faster. Others become so protective that they exit valid setups too early.

Both are examples of the account objective affecting the market decision. Tagging those trades makes the pressure measurable instead of anecdotal.

Ask Trading Mentor AI

Ask:

  • Do I overtrade when I am close to a target?
  • What happens after my first loss?
  • When do I increase contracts?
  • Which personal rules would have stopped my worst sessions earlier?

Pass with a process you actually want to keep.

How it works

Three steps, then the reviewing starts. No spreadsheet, no manual entry.

  1. 1

    Bring your history in

Connect Topstep or upload a CSV export. Executions are matched into trades automatically — partial fills and multi-leg options included.

  2. 2

    Tag what happened

Setup, emotion, rule followed, stop and target. A few fields per trade is enough to make the review meaningful later.

  3. 3

    Review the patterns

Filter by any variable and compare. The reports show which setups pay, which habits cost, and whether you followed your own plan.

Questions

Do you store my Topstep password?
No. RizeTrade never stores broker credentials, and never places, modifies or touches an order in your account. The connection is read-only.
How do I get my Topstep trades in?
Connect the account for automatic sync, or export a CSV and upload it. Either way your existing history comes in on the first import, not just trades from today onward.
Does it handle options and futures?
Yes. Verticals, condors, butterflies and diagonals are grouped as single positions rather than loose legs, and expired contracts close themselves. Futures carry their own multipliers and tick sizes.
What if I have years of history?
Import it all. A longer record makes the reports more useful, because patterns in setups, times of day and rule-breaking only become visible across a large sample.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can import your history and see your own numbers before committing.

Stop guessing. Review your trading.

Your Topstep history already contains evidence of what you do well and where your process breaks down. RizeTrade helps you see it.
