TradeLocker Trading Journal
A stop is a decision made before the trade. It should not become a negotiation after entry.

RizeTrade helps TradeLocker traders review how easy chart-based trade management affects discipline once the position is open.

Dragging a Level Can Feel Smaller Than Changing the Plan
When stops and targets are visible around the trade, adjusting them can feel like normal management.
Sometimes it is.
Other times, the stop moves because price is getting uncomfortable, the target changes because open profit looks exciting, or the exit gets delayed because you want to give the trade one more chance.
The action is small. The decision is not.

Review the Planned Levels Against the Actual Trade
RizeTrade lets you revisit historical executions on the chart and compare what you intended with what happened.
- Where was the original stop?
- Where did you actually exit?
- Did the target move after the position was already profitable?
- Did a worse entry lead to a wider stop?
That makes post-entry discipline visible.

Separate Management From Emotional Editing
Good management responds to the setup. Emotional editing responds to discomfort.
Track each stop change, target change, add, and reduction alongside your notes and emotional state. Over time, you can see whether certain adjustments consistently help or whether they mostly appear after fear, frustration, or FOMO.

Make the Plan Harder to Rewrite
A useful journal creates accountability around the levels you defined before entry.
The goal is not to prevent every adjustment. It is to make sure adjustments have a reason beyond “I did not want this trade to end here.”
That distinction can improve far more than any single stop placement.

Record the Original Stop Before the Position Can Influence You
One useful habit is to preserve the stop and target that existed at entry.
That gives you a fixed reference point for the review. If the levels change later, you can ask what new information justified the change instead of relying on the explanation that made sense while the trade was open.
The point is not to ban adjustment. It is to stop the original plan from disappearing once P&L starts moving.

Ask Trading Mentor AI
Ask:
- When do I move stops most often?
- Which stop changes improve the trade and which ones hurt?
- Do I change targets after large open profit?
- What emotions appear before I rewrite the plan?
Easy chart management should not make the original decision disposable.

How it works
Three steps, then the reviewing starts. No spreadsheet, no manual entry.
- 1
Bring your history in
Connect TradeLocker or upload a CSV export. Executions are matched into trades automatically — partial fills and multi-leg options included.
- 2
Tag what happened
Setup, emotion, rule followed, stop and target. A few fields per trade is enough to make the review meaningful later.
- 3
Review the patterns
Filter by any variable and compare. The reports show which setups pay, which habits cost, and whether you followed your own plan.
Questions
- Do you store my TradeLocker password?
- No. RizeTrade never stores broker credentials, and never places, modifies or touches an order in your account. The connection is read-only.
- How do I get my TradeLocker trades in?
- Connect the account for automatic sync, or export a CSV and upload it. Either way your existing history comes in on the first import, not just trades from today onward.
- Does it handle options and futures?
- Yes. Verticals, condors, butterflies and diagonals are grouped as single positions rather than loose legs, and expired contracts close themselves. Futures carry their own multipliers and tick sizes.
- What if I have years of history?
- Import it all. A longer record makes the reports more useful, because patterns in setups, times of day and rule-breaking only become visible across a large sample.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, at any time. There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can import your history and see your own numbers before committing.
