RizeTrade helps Sterling traders review the decision behind the preset, especially when hotkeys, Level II, and familiar share sizes make rushed trades feel routine.

Routine Workflow Can Hide a Different Motivation

The order process can look the same every time.

Same hotkey. Same preset. Same Level II window.

But one trade comes from a prepared setup and another comes right after a missed fill, a loss, or a sudden burst of urgency.

Sterling can make the workflow consistent. Your journal helps you see whether the decision was consistent too.

Review the Order in Context

RizeTrade lets you revisit historical trades on the chart.

You can see where the hotkey entry happened, whether you chased, whether the share size still fit the setup, and what happened after the first attempt failed.

That gives you a better review than simply confirming that the order was sent correctly.

03Sterling

Did Level II Confirm the Trade or Create It?

Level II can add useful context. It can also create urgency.

A bid looks strong, an offer changes, and suddenly the setup becomes “I need to act now.”

RizeTrade helps you review whether market depth supported a trade you had already planned or became the entire reason to enter.

Watch Preset Size When Emotion Changes

A preset share amount does not know whether you just lost, missed a move, or became overconfident.

Track size alongside recent results, setup quality, and emotions. You may find that the same preset becomes too aggressive in the moments when your decision quality is weakest.

05Sterling

Audit the Moments When the Preset Stops Fitting

Presets are designed to remove repeated decisions from the order process. The problem is that the market and your emotional state are not always identical from trade to trade.

Review the occasions where the normal share size, entry behavior, or hotkey workflow no longer fit the setup. If those mismatches happen after losses or missed fills, you have found a specific place where routine execution is overriding current judgment.

The preset should serve the trade, not decide it.

Ask Trading Mentor AI

Ask:

  • Which situations lead to my most rushed hotkey entries?
  • When does Level II replace my setup?
  • Do I use more size after a miss or loss?
  • Which trades have my best rule adherence?

Keep the shortcut. Review the reason.

How it works

Three steps, then the reviewing starts. No spreadsheet, no manual entry.

  1. 1

    Bring your history in

Connect Sterling or upload a CSV export. Executions are matched into trades automatically — partial fills and multi-leg options included.

  2. 2

    Tag what happened

Setup, emotion, rule followed, stop and target. A few fields per trade is enough to make the review meaningful later.

  3. 3

    Review the patterns

Filter by any variable and compare. The reports show which setups pay, which habits cost, and whether you followed your own plan.

Questions

Do you store my Sterling password?
No. RizeTrade never stores broker credentials, and never places, modifies or touches an order in your account. The connection is read-only.
How do I get my Sterling trades in?
Connect the account for automatic sync, or export a CSV and upload it. Either way your existing history comes in on the first import, not just trades from today onward.
Does it handle options and futures?
Yes. Verticals, condors, butterflies and diagonals are grouped as single positions rather than loose legs, and expired contracts close themselves. Futures carry their own multipliers and tick sizes.
What if I have years of history?
Import it all. A longer record makes the reports more useful, because patterns in setups, times of day and rule-breaking only become visible across a large sample.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can import your history and see your own numbers before committing.

Stop guessing. Review your trading.

Your Sterling history already contains evidence of what you do well and where your process breaks down. RizeTrade helps you see it.
