Export a comma-delimited Trade History CSV from the TC2000 desktop app, then upload it in Add Trades > File upload with TC2000 selected.
For the shared upload flow (opening Add Trades, choosing File upload, setting the required time zone, and file checks), see How to import your trades.
Export your trades from TC2000
Download Trade History from the TC2000 desktop app as a comma-delimited CSV for the account and date range you want to import.
- Open the TC2000 desktop application.
- Use the account selection dropdown to pick the brokerage or paper account whose trades you want.
- Go to Trading > Export Trade History.
- In the Export dropdown, choose the date range. For a custom window, use Trades In Date Range.
- Set the format to Comma delimited.
- Click Export, then Save the CSV.
Tip: Keep the file as comma-delimited CSV with the original headers. Do not rename required columns before you upload.
Columns Rize Trade expects
Your TC2000 Trade History CSV must include these required headers. Optional commission columns are accepted when present.
| Column | Required? | How Rize Trade uses it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sym | Required | Stock symbol or ticker. Symbol is also accepted. |
| Time | Required | Trade date and time. |
| Bot/Sld | Required | Side. Side is also accepted. Bot (or another buy value) maps to BUY and Sld (or another sell value) maps to SELL. Rows with a side Rize Trade does not recognise are skipped. |
| Price | Required | Fill price. |
| Quantity | Required | Fill size. Qty is also accepted. |
| Commision or Commission | Optional | Commission on the fill. Both spellings are accepted. |
- TC2000 imports are stored as STOCK.
- Rows whose first cell starts with Total are skipped automatically (summary totals from the export).
Upload the CSV in Rize Trade
After you have the CSV, upload it from Add Trades with TC2000 selected. For the general upload flow, see How to import your trades. TC2000-specific settings:
- TC2000 does not show a Date Format field. There is no date format to select on the upload screen.
- Each file can be up to 50 MB. For larger history, export a shorter date range and upload the pieces. See File too large, how to break up your import file.
After upload, open Settings > Import History to confirm status, trade count, and duplicates. Full walkthrough: View Import History logs.
Tip: If entry or exit times look shifted after import, fix the time zone and re-upload. See Why are my entries and exits on the wrong dates?.
If the import fails
Match the message on screen to the fix below. For generic errors (file too large, wrong file type, empty file, not a valid CSV, missing account or time zone), see Fix any import problem.
Invalid TC2000 file: Missing required columns
Symptom: You see Invalid TC2000 file: Missing required columns.
Cause: The file is missing one or more required headers: Sym, Time, Bot/Sld, Price, or Quantity.
Fix: Export again from TC2000 Trade History and keep the original headers. Do not rename or remove those columns before upload.
No valid trades found in file
Symptom: You see No valid trades found in file.
Cause: The file opened, but no rows passed the trade checks (only Total summary rows, or missing symbol, time, side, price, or quantity on every row).
Fix: Confirm the date range includes filled trades, keep required columns populated on each trade row, and upload a fresh comma-delimited export.
Failed to parse TC2000 file
Symptom: You see a message that starts with Failed to parse TC2000 file: followed by more detail.
Cause: The file could not be read as a TC2000 Trade History export.
Fix: Download a fresh comma-delimited CSV from TC2000 without editing columns or encoding, select TC2000 on the import screen, set Time zone, and upload again.
If the job stays queued, fails, or shows an error screen, see Import queued or something went wrong.
