Mentor AI is Rize Trade's AI trading mentor. You chat with it in natural language to analyze your trades, and it answers from your own data. You can ask it to list recent trades, pull statistics, or break down your performance by tag, symbol, or strategy.
How to open Mentor AI
Open Mentor AI from the left sidebar, or use the floating Ask Trading Mentor AI button to chat from any page.
- Open Mentor AI in the left sidebar. You land on a full-page chat titled Talk to your Trading Mentor.
- Type your question in the box that says Ask anything about your trades, then send it.
From other pages, click the floating Ask Trading Mentor AI button to open a compact Trading Mentor AI panel. Use Open full chat (or Continue in full chat) to move to the full page, or Close Trading Mentor to dismiss the panel. The launcher is hidden on the Mentor AI page and on individual trade pages.
What you can ask
Mentor AI answers from your own trading data, so you can ask about your results in plain language.
- Trade lists: recent trades and details
- Statistics: win rate, P&L, streaks, and profit factor
- Charts and a monthly P&L calendar
- Tag breakdowns: how setups, emotions, or mistakes affect results
- Strategy performance: how each strategy is doing
Slash commands
Type / in the chat box to open the command menu, then pick a command to get a prefilled prompt you can send or edit.
/trades: List recent trades/stats: Get trading statistics/report: Generate a performance report/tags: Analyze tag performance/symbols: Top symbols by P&L/winrate: Win rate analysis
Selecting a command replaces the slash text with the prefilled prompt.
Start from a playbook
Playbooks give you ready-made conversations to start from. On the empty chat, the Playbooks to start from section shows featured playbook cards, and View all opens the full playbook list.
On the playbooks page you can search, filter by category, start a conversation from a card, and clear your filters. Starting from a playbook opens a chat that uses that playbook's focus.
Chat history
Mentor AI saves your chats so you can return to them. Open Chat History from the Mentor AI page to see them grouped by Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days, or by month.
- Search chats: find a past conversation
- New chat: start a fresh conversation
- Rename and Delete: manage each chat from its row
When you have no chats yet, the page shows No chats yet and a Start your first chat button.
Voice input
You can speak your question instead of typing when your browser supports speech recognition. Click the Voice to text button, speak, and the recognized text is inserted into the prompt. The button shows Stop recording while you talk. Voice input only inserts text. It does not save audio.
Import trades from the chat
You can add trades without leaving the chat. Open the plus menu in the composer and choose Import trades, or drag a file onto the composer. It shows Drop to import and sets your prompt to I want to import with the file name.
Rate a response
Completed responses have a copy button (Copy response, which becomes Copied) and Good response / Bad response rating buttons so you can flag answers that helped or missed.
Access and credits
Mentor AI needs the Mentor AI subscription, $29/month or $276/year. Trials that started before trials ended also have access. Free-plan users are redirected to the Dashboard and cannot use it, and you must be signed in to chat.
Mentor AI runs on a monthly credit allowance that renews each month. The monthly allowance is 3,000 credits on Mentor AI, about 100 questions. The retired Pro plan gets 4,900, and trials that started before trials ended get 900. "Unlimited" on an account means that account is exempt, not that any plan is unlimited. When a finite account runs out of balance, the chat returns either that AI features are not included on your current plan (with an upgrade prompt) or that you have used your AI credits for this month and they renew on a set date. Both offer a View plans link.
If you need more credits, click Top up on the subscription card in Settings. Packs are 1,500 credits for $6, 3,000 for $12 and 6,000 for $24.
