Mentor AI runs on a monthly credit allowance that renews each billing cycle, and you use credits each time you ask it something. Your plan sets how many credits you get per month.

Free accounts cannot chat with Mentor AI. That needs the Mentor AI subscription.
The allowance renews on your billing date. Purchased credits are used only after your monthly allowance runs out, and they never expire.
When you run out of credits
If you use up your allowance, Mentor AI stops responding until it renews. The app tells you either that AI features are not included on your current plan, or that you have used your credits for the month, when they renew, and that you can upgrade for a larger monthly allowance.
You can also buy more credits when your allowance runs out. In Settings, on the subscription card, click Top up to open Top up AI credits. Packs are 1,500 credits for $6, 3,000 for $12 and 6,000 for $24. Top ups are not sold in the mobile app.
Who gets unlimited access
An "unlimited" credit label applies to accounts that are exempt from the allowance. This is an admin-level exemption, not a standard plan feature. Free accounts cannot use Mentor AI at all; any non-free tier, including a trial, can use it.
What counts as a credit
Each question you ask Mentor AI consumes credits from your allowance. The exact number of credits per question is not shown in the app.
