The Drawdown chart on the Statistics tab of Reports shows how far below its running peak your account sat, day by day. It is the clearest view of how deep your losing streaks cut, and whether you are recovering to new highs.
Open Reports from the left sidebar and go to the Statistics tab. The Drawdown chart sits beneath the statistics grid and the metrics-over-time chart. Set filters at the top first (date range, accounts, tags, symbol, sides, asset types, and statuses) so the chart reflects the slice you care about. For how filters work, see Reports Filters.
Switch between dollars and percent
Use the $ and % controls to view drawdown in dollars or as a percentage of the running peak (the default is $).
Read the summary
Four summary cells appear above the chart when there is enough history:
- Max drawdown: the largest peak-to-trough drop in dollars.
- Max drawdown %: the largest drop as a percentage.
- Longest below peak: the longest stretch spent below a prior high.
- Currently: your current drawdown and how many days you have been below peak. When current drawdown is zero, this reads At a high.
Read the chart
The chart plots your account's daily drawdown. P&L is attributed to the day each trade closed, and the line tracks cumulative realized P&L against its running peak. A day at a new high shows drawdown of 0. Otherwise the line shows how far below the peak you sat. Hover a day to see the date, the dollar or percentage value, and whether it was a new high or, for example, 3d below peak.
When there are fewer than two data points, no chart is plotted and the section reads Not enough history yet to plot drawdown. Open trades are excluded from the series.
