How to split trades into separate trades

Use Split when possible so Rize Trade creates a new trade whenever a new execution hits while your position is flat. This is an import-time setting; there is no split button on trades already in your account.

What Split when possible does

Rize Trade starts a new trade each time a new execution arrives and your position is flat. That keeps separate rounds on the same symbol as separate trades.

Split when possible is the default. The other choice is Merge when possible, which groups executions more aggressively on the same day.

Turn on Split when possible

  1. Click your profile icon, then open Settings.
  2. Open Trade settings.
  3. Under Trade Processing, find Trade Grouping.
  4. Select Split when possible.
  5. Click Save Changes.

This setting only applies to future imports.

Apply the setting to trades you already imported

  1. Save Split when possible in Trade settings.
  2. Delete the trades imported with the wrong grouping.
  3. Import those trades again.
