No. When you re-import into the same trading account, Rize Trade skips executions it already has. You only get true doubles if the same trades live in more than one account, or if you are viewing All Accounts.
Import History lets you check whether a file has already been imported.
How Rize Trade skips duplicates on re-import
Rize Trade matches each execution against what is already in that account using a fingerprint of symbol, timestamp, side, quantity and price.
If an incoming execution matches one already stored, it is skipped. Only new executions are added.
What you see when everything is already imported
- The summary can show Already imported and that no new trades were added
- The message can read that all executions were duplicates of previously imported data
- A partial re-import still adds only the new rows
That outcome means the dedupe step worked.
Confirm skipped duplicates in Import History
Open Settings > Import History. Each row includes a Duplicates column. A high duplicates count with few new trades is normal when you re-import an overlapping date range.
When trades still look duplicated
All Accounts is selected
With All Accounts selected, Rize Trade shows every account together. If identical trades exist in more than one account, they all appear.
Fix: use the account filter and pick the single account you want to review.
Same file imported into two accounts
Deduping only compares executions inside the account you are importing into, not across accounts.
Fix: keep the correct copy in one account. On the Trades page for the account that should not have them, select the extras, open Bulk Actions and choose Delete Trades.
