Enter options trades by hand in Add Trade Manually: choose the Option or Future Option tab, fill each execution row, then click Save Trade.
Open Add Trade Manually
- Open the account where the option trade belongs.
- On the trades page, click Add trade.
- The Add Trade Manually form opens.
Choose Option or Future Option
- Option
- Future Option — includes a Multiplier field
Enter the option details
- Enter the Underlying symbol.
- In the Executions table, set each row:
- Date & Time — defaults to now
- Exp Date — option expiration date
- Type — Call or Put, defaults to Call
- Strike — strike price
- Multiplier — Future Option only, defaults to 1
- Qty or Contracts — must be greater than zero
- Side — Buy or Sell
- Price — fill price
- Comm and Fee
- To scale in or out, click Add execution.
Watch the Net qty badge. Manual entry only saves when executions fully close the position, so include both the open and the close fills in one save.
Save the trade
- Click Save Trade.
- On success, Rize Trade confirms with Trade saved.
Tips for clean option entries
- Match Exp Date, Type and Strike on every leg of the same contract.
- Enter Comm and Fee per execution if you track net P&L.
- Use Future Option rather than Option when you need a contract Multiplier.
