If Rize Trade rejects your upload as too large, export a smaller date range from your broker and upload the pieces one at a time. Each file must stay at or under 50 MB and under 200,000 rows.
A file under 50 MB can still be rejected as Too Many Trades if it has more than 200,000 rows. Supported upload types are CSV, TXT or HTML, depending on the broker.
How to break up the file and import
- In your broker, set a shorter date range, for example one month, one quarter or one year at a time.
- Download each range as a separate file and keep every file at or under 50 MB and under 200,000 rows.
- Open Add Trades, pick your broker, and choose File upload.
- Set time zone and any date format your broker needs, then drop in the first smaller file.
- After it finishes, upload the next file the same way.
Overlapping date ranges are fine on the same account. Rize Trade skips executions it already has, so you will not create doubles.
After each upload, confirm status, trade count and duplicates under Settings > Import History.
