What TradePulse Actually Does
TradePulse is a real-time order flow analytics platform built for US equities. It is not a broker and it is not a charting platform. It sits on top of your existing setup and tries to answer one question: where is the big money moving right now, before the price move shows up on a normal chart.
The product is built around three core features:
Real-time Flows – tracks Momentum, Daily, and Large Deal flow data on individual stocks
Power Inflow – flags significant buying activity in the first 30 to 120 minutes of the session, aimed at traders who want an early read on session direction
Top Flows – ranks the top 30 stocks by a proprietary "Flow Score" derived from the same underlying data
TradePulse also integrates with a handful of broker platforms, including Lightspeed and Tradier, so some traders get access to it as an add-on rather than signing up directly.
TradePulse Pricing
TradePulse runs three monthly tiers:
Plan | Monthly Price | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
Basic | $29.99 | Order flow analysis, Power Inflow (5 stocks/day) |
Premium | $64.99 | Adds Market Board, sector view, Power Inflow (10 stocks/day), Top Flows, ad-free |
Professional | $99.99 | Full access, unlimited Power Inflow, data export (CSV) |
Annual billing knocks the effective monthly cost down roughly 10%. There is a 14-day free trial, and importantly: no card required to start it, but purchases are final once you convert to paid. There is no refund policy beyond the trial window, so treat the 14 days as your actual evaluation period, not a formality.
If you trade through Lightspeed, ask about the partner discount before subscribing directly. Lightspeed customers get roughly 25% off list price, which brings the Premium plan closer to $49/month.
What Traders Actually Like About It
The Power Inflow signal has real fans. Several traders on social platforms point to specific calls where a Power Inflow alert lined up with a same-day move of 3-5%+ in the underlying stock. That does not mean every alert plays out, but the concept, catching institutional-size buying before it is obvious on a candle chart, is a legitimate edge if you know how to use it as a filter rather than a trade signal.
It is a supplement, not a full system, and TradePulse is upfront about that. Every feature on the site carries a disclaimer that the data is "for observational purposes" and "not a recommendation." That is the right posture for a data tool. The traders who get the most out of it are the ones already running a strategy and using Power Inflow or Top Flows as a confirmation layer, not a replacement for their process.
The interface is simple. No steep learning curve, no dense terminal-style dashboard. If you have used any order flow or level 2 tool before, TradePulse's UI will feel familiar within a session or two.
Where It Falls Short
Younger company, thin independent track record. TradePulse was only founded in 2023-2024 and does not have years of public performance data or a large base of independent reviews outside its own marketing and partner pages. That is not automatically a red flag, but it means you are trusting a newer data provider with real money decisions, so the trial period matters more here than it would with an established tool.
Feature gating can sting. The Basic plan caps you at 5 Power Inflow stocks per day, and the Top Flows feature excludes the top 5 stocks unless you are on Premium or above. If the whole reason you want TradePulse is Power Inflow across your full watchlist, you are likely looking at the $64.99+ tier, not the entry price advertised.
No data export below the Professional tier. If you want to backtest or log the flow data alongside your own trade journal, you need the $99.99/month plan. That is a meaningful jump for a trader still deciding if the signal is useful.
It is a research layer, not an execution or risk tool. TradePulse tells you where flow is happening. It does not size your position, manage your stop, or stop you from chasing an alert into a bad entry. That responsibility stays entirely on the trader, and it is where a lot of the real damage happens regardless of how good the underlying data is.
Is TradePulse Worth It?
For a trader who already has a defined strategy and wants an additional data point on institutional order flow, TradePulse is a reasonable $30-65/month addition, especially if you can get it through a broker discount. For a trader hoping a flow signal will fix a shaky process, it will not. No data feed compensates for the absence of a plan.
The 14-day trial is the actual test. Track every Power Inflow alert you see against what the stock does for the rest of the session, log it, and decide with real numbers instead of the marketing copy. If the signal holds up on your own watchlist over two weeks, the subscription pays for itself fast. If it does not, you have lost nothing but the time.
