Which is the better fit?
Consider Breakout
Breakout makes the most sense for disciplined crypto traders who already have a repeatable strategy and want more trading capital without depositing the equivalent amount themselves. The 1-Step Classic plan is the strongest all-round option if passing probability matters more than getting the cheapest evaluation fee.
Consider Tradeify 247
Tradeify247 is a legitimate simulated prop trading programme worth considering for crypto traders, but it is not a good fit for every strategy. Its strongest points are 24/7 trading, more than 100 crypto pairs, tokenized stocks, static drawdown on its evaluation accounts and multiple paths to funding. Its biggest drawback is the 0.04% commission per side calculated on notional position value, which can make high-turnover and tight-target trading considerably less attractive.

Which should you fund?
Breakout is the better crypto prop firm for most traders in 2026. It wins on rule simplicity, crypto-specific operating history, Kraken ownership, straightforward static drawdown options and unrestricted on-demand payouts.
Tradeify 247 is the better choice if you specifically want Instant Funding, a higher combined funded allocation, a potential 95% profit split or more account-path flexibility.
For most discretionary crypto traders choosing between the two, I would pick Breakout.
Quick verdict: Choose Breakout if you want fewer rules and a cleaner path from evaluation to payout. Choose Tradeify 247 if maximum allocation, Instant Funding or account customisation matter more than simplicity.

Breakout offers funded capital up to $200,000, three one-step evaluation structures and an 80% standard profit split that can be upgraded to 90%. Breakout also states that its accounts have no consistency rule, minimum trading days or time limits.
Tradeify 247 offers 2-Step, 1-Step and Instant Funding accounts from $10,000 to $100,000, with up to $300,000 in combined funded allocation. Its standard split is 80%, with an optional paid upgrade to 95%.
Is Tradeify the same as Tradeify 247?
Tradeify Futures remains a separate futures prop trading programme. The comparison on this page is therefore Breakout vs Tradeify 247, because that is the apples-to-apples crypto prop firm comparison.
Tradeify's current Terms of Use explicitly describe Tradeify 247 as the business formerly branded Tradeify Crypto, while Tradeify's FAQ distinguishes the crypto programme from Tradeify Futures.
That distinction matters because searching simply for “Tradeify” can surface information about its futures accounts, including Growth, Select and Lightning Funded plans. Those rules should not be used to evaluate Tradeify 247.
Why Breakout wins overall
Breakout's biggest advantage is not one headline number. It is the amount of friction removed from the funded-trader experience.
Breakout has simpler trading rules
Breakout's current evaluation structure revolves primarily around two risk limits: the daily loss limit and maximum drawdown.
All three main Breakout evaluations use a 3% maximum daily loss. The maximum drawdown is static and depends on the account:
- 1-Step Turbo: 9% profit target, 3% static max drawdown
- 1-Step Pro: 12% profit target, 5% static max drawdown
- 1-Step Classic: 10% profit target, 6% static max drawdown
There is no consistency rule, no evaluation time limit and no minimum number of trading days. Breakout also permits holding positions overnight, through weekends and around news events.
That matters because every additional payout condition or moving drawdown mechanism creates another way for a profitable trader to become ineligible.
Tradeify 247 is not excessively complicated, but its structure changes materially depending on whether you choose 2-Step, 1-Step or Instant Funding.
Breakout has Kraken behind it
Kraken acquired Breakout in September 2025.
That gives Breakout a differentiator that is difficult for another crypto prop firm to replicate: ownership by a major established crypto exchange rather than simply a commercial partnership or liquidity-provider relationship. Kraken itself announced the acquisition and describes Breakout as backed by Kraken's infrastructure and global platform.
Breakout also currently reports more than $60 million paid to traders since launch and publishes a payout leaderboard. That payout figure is Breakout's own reported number rather than an independently audited financial statement, so it should be treated accordingly.
Tradeify 247 benefits from being part of the wider Tradeify operation, but Breakout has the stronger crypto-specific institutional story.
Breakout makes withdrawals unusually straightforward
Breakout permits funded traders to request payouts on demand, 24/7, with a $50 minimum after the profit split. Payouts are made in USDC on Ethereum. Breakout says there are no payout cycles or profit caps.
Tradeify 247 also supports on-demand withdrawals, but its minimum payout is $100. Tradeify 247 offers more withdrawal flexibility, including bank transfers through Rise and cryptocurrency payments, and it advertises a 24-hour processing guarantee with defined exceptions.
So the distinction is:
Breakout wins for payout simplicity. Tradeify 247 wins for payout-method choice.
Breakout vs Tradeify 247 pricing on a $100K account
Comparing the cheapest headline price alone is misleading because these products give the trader different amounts of drawdown.
The more useful comparison is what you actually receive for the fee.

What a $100K evaluation costs
Standard published prices before temporary discounts.
Breakout's current $100K pricing is $330 for Turbo, $545 for Pro and $800 for Classic.
Tradeify 247 lists regular $100K pricing at $580 for its 2-Step evaluation, $838 for 1-Step and $1,000 for Instant Funding.
The closest direct comparison is Breakout Classic vs Tradeify 247 1-Step because both provide a 6% static evaluation drawdown and 3% daily loss limit.
Breakout Classic costs $800 and requires a 10% profit target. Tradeify 247 1-Step costs $838 and requires 12%.
On those standard published terms, Breakout Classic is both $38 cheaper and requires two percentage points less profit to pass.
Breakout Pro is arguably the stronger value play for disciplined traders. At $545, it gives up one percentage point of total drawdown versus Tradeify's 1-Step account but keeps the same 12% profit target while costing $293 less.
Breakout Turbo is much cheaper again, but the 3% static maximum drawdown is tight enough that it should be viewed as a different product rather than an automatic bargain.
Tradeify 247 regularly runs promotions and was advertising a temporary September discount at the time of research. Temporary coupon pricing should not be used as the foundation for a long-lived comparison because the discount can disappear while the underlying product economics remain unchanged.
Which firm has better drawdown rules?
Breakout's core evaluations use static maximum drawdown. The floor is set when the account is created and does not follow profits higher. The trader simply chooses how much static buffer they want by selecting Turbo, Pro or Classic.
Tradeify 247's 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations also use a 6% static drawdown, which is perfectly reasonable.
The main complication appears with Tradeify 247 Instant Funding. Its 6% maximum loss uses an end-of-trade trailing balance mechanism. As profitable trades close at new highs, the drawdown floor moves upwards until reaching its cap. Instant Funding also imposes a 20% consistency requirement for payout eligibility.
For a trader who hates trailing drawdown, Breakout is the obvious choice.
For a trader who wants to bypass an evaluation completely and accepts the tighter mechanics that come with doing so, Tradeify 247 Instant Funding serves a market Breakout currently does not.
Tradeify 247's 1-Step payout-lock documentation needs clarification
There is also an important documentation issue prospective Tradeify 247 traders should verify before buying.
Tradeify 247's current pricing reference says 1-Step funded accounts have a payout lock on the first payout. Its glossary also says the payout lock applies to 1-Step funded accounts.
However, Tradeify 247's Instant Funding guide currently states that 1-Step and 2-Step funded accounts do not have a payout lock. Those statements cannot both be correct.
Until Tradeify resolves that inconsistency, I would assume the stricter interpretation and get the applicable rule confirmed in writing for the exact account being purchased.
That is not necessarily a reason to avoid Tradeify 247. It is a reason not to rely on an affiliate comparison that confidently presents one version as settled fact.
Which has the better profit split?
Breakout's standard funded split is 80/20. Traders can upgrade to 90/10 at checkout, with the upgrade priced above the standard evaluation.
Tradeify 247 also starts at 80/20 but offers a 95% profit-split add-on. The add-on costs 25% of the base account price and applies to eligible Instant Funding, 1-Step and 2-Step accounts.
If maximising the percentage of every future payout is your overriding priority, Tradeify 247 wins 95% vs 90%.
That does not automatically make Tradeify cheaper. A better split only becomes valuable after you generate enough withdrawable profit to offset the additional account cost and any differences in passing difficulty.
Which offers more funded capital?
Tradeify 247 permits up to $300,000 in combined funded account size, while standard evaluation accounts can be purchased in $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K sizes.
Breakout caps combined funded capital at $200,000. Breakout itself offers individual evaluation sizes up to $200,000 on selected plans.
A trader intending to stack several funded accounts therefore gets more immediate allocation headroom from Tradeify 247.
For someone buying a single $25K, $50K or $100K account, that distinction is much less important than drawdown and payout mechanics.
Which has more markets and platform flexibility?
Tradeify 247 currently advertises more than 100 cryptocurrency pairs plus tokenised stocks. Its documentation lists DXTrade and MetaTrader 5 as supported platforms, although platform availability can depend on jurisdiction. Tradeify also explicitly permits traders to use their own trading bots.
Breakout currently lists more than 60 tradeable markets, including major cryptocurrencies and selected non-crypto markets, with leverage varying by instrument. Bitcoin currently receives up to 10x leverage under Breakout's published rules.
Breakout is stricter about prohibited trading behaviour. Its rules prohibit third-party strategies, copied trade ideas, cross-account hedging and strategies that Breakout considers difficult to replicate in a live market.
That creates a fairly clean decision:
Manual discretionary trader: Breakout is likely the cleaner fit.
Trader running a proprietary automated strategy: Tradeify 247 deserves a closer look because trader-owned bots are explicitly supported.
Is Breakout or Tradeify 247 better for beginners?
The appeal of Turbo is its low price and 9% target. The trade-off is a maximum static drawdown of only 3%.
A newer trader who buys the cheapest account purely because it is cheap could therefore end up with less room for error than expected.
Breakout Classic provides a 6% static drawdown and a 10% target, making the rule structure more forgiving even though the evaluation costs more.
Tradeify 247's 2-Step account also provides a 6% static drawdown and costs less than its own 1-Step account, but the trader must complete two profit targets before funding.
For beginners, I would choose rule simplicity and adequate drawdown before chasing the lowest evaluation fee.
Who should choose Breakout?
Choose Breakout if your priorities are:
- simple one-step evaluations
- static drawdown
- no consistency rules
- no minimum evaluation trading days
- on-demand 24/7 payouts
- a low $50 payout threshold
- Kraken ownership and infrastructure
- a crypto-native trading experience
- fewer payout conditions to keep track of
Breakout is particularly compelling for discretionary traders who already know they can operate comfortably inside a 3% daily loss limit.
Who should choose Tradeify 247?
Choose Tradeify 247 if you specifically want:
- Instant Funding with no evaluation
- a 2-Step alternative
- up to $300,000 in combined funded allocation
- an optional 95% profit split
- 100+ cryptocurrency pairs
- tokenised stocks and additional asset exposure
- DXTrade or MT5 availability
- trader-owned automated strategies
- bank-transfer as well as cryptocurrency payout options
Tradeify 247 gives the trader more knobs to turn. That flexibility is genuinely useful if you need one of those features, but it also creates more rules and account-specific conditions to understand.
Breakout vs Tradeify: final verdict
Tradeify 247 actually wins several individual categories. It has the larger $300,000 combined funded allocation, Instant Funding, more markets and a maximum 95% profit split.
But those are feature advantages.
Breakout wins the part that matters most once real money is on the line: the programme is easier to reason about.
A trader can choose a static drawdown level, pass one evaluation, avoid consistency rules and request payouts on demand. Breakout also carries the additional credibility of Kraken's acquisition and established crypto infrastructure.
Pick Breakout if you want the strongest all-round option.
Pick Tradeify 247 if Instant Funding, $300K combined allocation, automated trading or the 95% profit-split upgrade is important enough to outweigh the extra complexity.
That is the real difference between Breakout and Tradeify 247. Breakout sells simplicity. Tradeify 247 sells optionality.
