How to use a discount code or promo code

Apply a discount or promo code during checkout. Enter the code in the checkout field and choose Apply before you finish paying.

Promo codes are not entered in Settings. If you already have an active subscription and need to change plan, start from Manage, upgrade, or cancel your subscription.

Apply a code during onboarding checkout

1. On the checkout step, find the field with the placeholder Enter code.
2. Type your promo or discount code.
3. Click Apply.
4. Finish checkout.

Apply a code on hosted checkout

If checkout opens on Stripe's hosted checkout page, promotion codes are allowed there too. Enter your code on that page, then complete payment.

If your code does not work

• Invalid or expired promotion code — the code is wrong, no longer valid, or past its end date. Check the spelling and try a current code.
• Failed to apply promotion code — try again, or finish checkout without the code.

If a code fails you can still finish checkout at the regular price.

What is not a typed promo code

• Stay offers during cancel — any retention discount is applied for you.
• Referral answers during onboarding — a survey step, not a billing field.
