Overview

FXGrow is a real broker brand connected to regulated financial entities, but it is not a broker I would recommend without first checking exactly which FXGrow company will hold your account. Growell Capital Ltd is authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission under licence 214/13, while FXGrow's international website identifies Grow Prime Ltd as its Seychelles-regulated entity.

That distinction matters.

For European clients, CySEC lists www.fxgrow.eu as the approved domain of Growell Capital Ltd. The international fxgrow.com website currently describes FXGrow as a brand of Grow Prime Ltd in Seychelles. At the same time, some pages on fxgrow.com still reference Growell Capital Ltd and CySEC, creating unnecessary ambiguity about which entity and regulatory protections apply.

Our verdict is therefore straightforward: FXGrow does have verifiable regulatory credentials, so there is not enough evidence to describe the genuine broker as a scam. However, its entity disclosures, inconsistent public fee information and very small pool of mixed customer reviews mean it does not earn an unconditional recommendation.

This FXGrow review is based on regulator records, FXGrow's current public trading terms and independent customer-review data. We did not fund a live FXGrow account or perform a first-hand withdrawal test, so we do not pretend to have done so.

Is FXGrow legit or a scam?

The genuine FXGrow operation has verifiable regulated entities, so calling FXGrow an unregulated scam would be inaccurate.

CySEC's public register lists Growell Capital Ltd under investment-firm licence 214/13. The register gives the company registration number as 314852 and lists www.fxgrow.eu as its approved website.

FXGrow's international website identifies the brand with Grow Prime Ltd, a company registered in Seychelles. The Seychelles Financial Services Authority's capital-markets register also lists Grow Prime Ltd as a regulated entity.

That does not mean every website, salesperson or company using the FXGrow name is genuine.

Watch out for FXGrow clone websites

The UK Financial Conduct Authority previously warned about FXGrow Capital, which it described as a clone of the authorised Growell Capital Limited firm. The warning named fxgrowcapital.com and fxgrowksa.com as websites used by the clone firm. The FCA warning concerns unauthorised parties impersonating the legitimate firm. It does not identify Growell Capital Ltd itself as a clone.

Before depositing, check all three of the following:

1. The exact website domain 2. The legal company named in the client agreement 3. The regulator and licence number associated with that company A familiar FXGrow logo is not enough.

How safe is FXGrow?

FXGrow's safety depends on the legal entity that opens your trading account.

A client contracting with CySEC-regulated Growell Capital Ltd receives a different regulatory framework from a client contracting with the Seychelles entity.

CySEC's Investor Compensation Fund can cover eligible claims against participating Cyprus investment firms. Current CySEC rules set the maximum compensation at the lower of 90% of a covered client's cumulative claim or €20,000. This protection is conditional and should not be assumed to cover an account held under Grow Prime Ltd in Seychelles.

FXGrow also says that client funds are held separately from company funds and advertises negative balance protection. These safeguards may reduce certain risks, but statements from a broker about its own controls are not the same as an independent guarantee.

CFD trading remains high risk even when a broker is regulated. FXGrow warns that leveraged contracts for difference can result in substantial losses.

FXGrow regulation explained

The biggest mistake when researching FXGrow is reducing its regulatory position to a single sentence such as "FXGrow is regulated by CySEC."

The more accurate answer is entity-specific.

Website or entityRegulatory positionWhy it matters
Growell Capital LtdCySEC licence 214/13Cyprus investment firm subject to the EU regulatory framework
fxgrow.euListed by CySEC as an approved Growell Capital Ltd domainRelevant domain for the CySEC-regulated entity
Grow Prime LtdListed by Seychelles FSAInternational regulatory framework
fxgrow.comCurrent About page identifies Grow Prime Ltd as the operating entityInternational users should confirm the contract before funding
fxgrowcapital.com / fxgrowksa.comNamed in an FCA clone warningShould not be confused with the genuine regulated firm

This entity separation is particularly important because some fxgrow.com pages still contain CySEC and Growell Capital references even though the site's current About page points to Grow Prime Ltd in Seychelles.

Before depositing, check the company name printed on the client agreement. The company named in that agreement matters more than the FXGrow logo at the top of the website.

What are FXGrow's account types and minimum deposit?

FXGrow's current international website advertises two main account types, Standard and Ultra Low.

FeatureStandard AccountUltra Low Account
Initial deposit$100$250
Advertised spreadVariable from 0.2Variable from 0.2
Commission$10 per lot$0
Advertised leverage1:2001:200
Base currenciesUSD, EURUSD, EUR
MT5 VPS$15/month$0
Margin call100%100%

These conditions are taken from the current international fxgrow.com website and should not automatically be assumed to apply to EU retail accounts.

The advertised minimum deposit of $100 therefore makes FXGrow accessible without a particularly large starting balance.

However, minimum deposit should not be confused with a sensible trading balance. Leverage can magnify losses as well as gains, and a small CFD account can be depleted quickly if position sizing is aggressive.

Both accounts advertise spreads from 0.2 pips, converted here at $10 per pip. Standard adds a $10-per-lot commission; Ultra Low charges none but asks for $250 to open instead of $100.

Are FXGrow spreads and commissions competitive?

FXGrow advertises low minimum spreads, but its public pricing does not provide enough consistent cost data to rank it among the cheapest brokers.

The international site advertises spreads "from 0.2" on both the Standard and Ultra Low accounts. The Standard account also lists a $10-per-lot commission, while the Ultra Low account displays zero commission.

The problem with any "from" spread is that it represents a minimum rather than the average spread a trader is likely to experience.

A proper cost comparison would need average spreads for instruments such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD and XAU/USD during liquid trading periods. It should also include round-turn commissions, swaps and other account charges.

Until that information is compared on the same basis, FXGrow's 0.2 spread should be treated as a marketing minimum rather than evidence of low overall costs.

Does FXGrow charge deposit or withdrawal fees?

FXGrow's public pages give conflicting information about payment charges, so check the applicable fee schedule before depositing.

The dedicated Deposits & Withdrawals page lists:

FXGrow's FAQ gives a different answer. It says the broker does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees and may cover charges imposed by payment providers.

The two statements do not match. Regional conditions or outdated website content may explain the difference, but clients should not have to work that out after funding an account.

Check the live client portal and the current client agreement before sending money.

How long do FXGrow withdrawals take?

FXGrow says its financial department normally processes withdrawal requests within one to three hours. The time needed for the funds to arrive then depends on the payment method and provider.

That is FXGrow's stated processing time, not an independently verified average.

FXGrow also says clients can request a withdrawal while positions remain open, provided the account's available free margin exceeds the requested amount.

A small withdrawal test is sensible before allowing a large balance to build up in the account.

What trading platform does FXGrow use?

FXGrow offers MetaTrader 5, also known as MT5.

The platform supports multiple order types, charting tools, technical indicators and Expert Advisors for automated strategies. FXGrow says MT5 is available across its account types.

MT5 suits traders who already use the MetaTrader ecosystem. It may be less suitable for anyone looking for a proprietary platform or a wider selection of trading software.

Older FXGrow reviews may mention MetaTrader 4 or other platforms. Current decisions should be based on the products FXGrow offers now.

What markets can you trade with FXGrow?

FXGrow advertises CFDs on forex, indices, metals, energies, stocks and cryptocurrencies.

The available instruments, leverage and trading hours can vary by account and jurisdiction. That matters for cryptocurrency CFDs and high-leverage products because European and international rules can differ.

Check the instrument list and leverage limits that apply to your specific account before trading.

What do FXGrow customer reviews say?

Public FXGrow reviews are mixed, but the sample is too small to show whether the broker is generally trustworthy or untrustworthy.

Trustpilot currently shows five reviews for fxgrow.com, with a score of about 2.6 out of 5. Sixty percent of the reviews are rated one star. Some recent reviewers allege withdrawal problems. FXGrow has disputed at least one complaint, saying it could not identify a matching case and that asking for a 20% payment before processing a withdrawal is not part of its policy.

Five reviews do not provide a statistically useful picture of customer satisfaction.

The complaints are worth considering during due diligence, but they are not proof of wrongdoing. Positive reviews should also be treated cautiously because a handful of comments cannot establish consistent service quality.

FXGrow has less public review data than larger retail brokers with thousands of independent customer submissions.

Who is FXGrow best for?

FXGrow may suit an experienced trader who wants MT5, understands leveraged CFD trading and is willing to confirm the legal entity and costs before funding.

It is less suitable for a beginner choosing a broker mainly for simple regulation, a long public track record and extensive customer feedback.

Is FXGrow regulated by CySEC?

Growell Capital Ltd is regulated by CySEC under licence 214/13, and CySEC lists fxgrow.eu as its approved domain.

That does not mean every FXGrow-branded website opens accounts with the CySEC entity. Check the legal company in the account agreement.

Is fxgrow.com the same as fxgrow.eu?

No. The domains should not be treated as interchangeable.

CySEC lists fxgrow.eu as the approved domain for Growell Capital Ltd. The About page on fxgrow.com identifies the international operation with Grow Prime Ltd in Seychelles.

Confirm the legal entity before funding either type of account.

What is the FXGrow minimum deposit?

FXGrow's international website lists a $100 initial deposit for the Standard account and $250 for the Ultra Low account.

Terms may differ between entities, jurisdictions and account classifications.

Can you withdraw money from FXGrow?

FXGrow offers withdrawals and says its internal processing time is normally one to three hours.

Public reviews include both positive comments and allegations of withdrawal problems. The sample is too small to establish a reliable failure rate, so a small test withdrawal is sensible before depositing a larger amount.

Final verdict: should you use FXGrow?

FXGrow is a legitimate regulated broker brand, but I would put it in the "consider with caution" category rather than the "easy recommendation" category.

The strongest positive is regulation. Growell Capital Ltd's CySEC licence is independently verifiable, and Grow Prime Ltd appears on the Seychelles FSA register. That separates genuine FXGrow entities from anonymous offshore websites with no regulatory footprint.

The biggest weakness is clarity.

FXGrow's current public pages do not always present its legal entity, regulation and payment fees consistently. That is particularly unhelpful in financial services, where the exact contracting company determines the protections available to a client.

The tiny and mixed independent review footprint adds another reason not to deposit a large amount blindly.

For an EU trader considering FXGrow, verify that the account is actually being opened with Growell Capital Ltd through the CySEC-approved fxgrow.eu domain. For an international account, check the Grow Prime Ltd agreement and understand that the regulatory framework will be different.

If FXGrow's live spreads suit your strategy and the legal entity and withdrawal terms check out, the broker is a viable option. If regulatory simplicity, extensive public reputation data and crystal-clear fee disclosure are priorities, there are stronger candidates to compare before opening an account.
