Overview

Deltastock is a legitimate, long-established Bulgarian investment firm and CFD broker regulated by Bulgaria’s Financial Supervision Commission under licence RG-03-146. It is a credible option for European forex and CFD traders who value EU regulation, MetaTrader 5 and Deltastock’s proprietary Delta Trading platform. However, Deltastock is not an obvious best choice for everyone because withdrawals can carry fees, its public customer-review footprint is relatively small, and some parts of its current equities offering need clarification.

The biggest reason to consider Deltastock is regulatory protection rather than flashy trading features. Retail clients receive negative balance protection, client funds are stated to be segregated, and eligible clients are covered by Bulgaria’s Investor Compensation Fund for 90% of an eligible claim up to €20,000 if the investment firm becomes unable to return client assets. That compensation does not protect traders from normal market losses.

The biggest reasons to look elsewhere are the friction around withdrawals, limited independent customer-review volume and uncertainty around some share-related products. Traders primarily interested in forex, indices, metals, energy or cryptocurrency CFDs will find Deltastock more relevant than investors looking for a conventional low-cost stockbroker.

> Deltastock verdict: Legitimate and worth considering for EU-based forex and CFD trading, particularly if regulation and the choice between MetaTrader 5 and Delta Trading matter to you. Test the demo first and compare live spreads and withdrawal costs against at least one competing regulated broker before depositing.

This Deltastock review is based on current regulatory information, Deltastock’s published trading conditions, legal documents and public customer feedback. It does not claim a first-hand funded account test.

Is Deltastock legit or a scam?

Deltastock AD is a regulated Bulgarian investment intermediary, and the available evidence supports treating the genuine company as a legitimate financial firm rather than an unregulated broker.

Deltastock states that it is authorised by Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission under licence RG-03-146. It operates under the European Union's MiFID II framework and lists its registered office at 6 Korab Planina Street, Sofia, Bulgaria.

The company also states that it provides cross-border services in Germany under MiFID II and identifies a BaFin registration. The main risk at this stage is impersonation. Deltastock has warned customers about unrelated websites using similar names, including:

These domains are not affiliated with Deltastock AD, according to the broker. Check that you are using deltastock.com before submitting identity documents or transferring money.

Complaints about an impersonating website should not automatically be attributed to the regulated Deltastock AD entity.

How safe is Deltastock?

Deltastock provides several protections for retail clients, but those protections do not remove the risks of leveraged CFD trading.

Deltastock states that retail client funds are segregated and that retail accounts have negative balance protection. EU retail CFD rules also require an account-level margin close-out mechanism. Deltastock lists a 50% margin close-out level.

Eligible clients may also receive protection from Bulgaria's Investor Compensation Fund. The scheme covers 90% of an eligible claim, up to a maximum of €20,000, if an authorised investment firm becomes unable to return client money or financial instruments because of its financial condition. The compensation scheme does not cover losses caused by unsuccessful trades or falling markets.

Deltastock currently reports that 58% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with the provider. For an ordinary trader, that is the most relevant risk figure. Regulation can limit some counterparty and conduct risks, but it cannot make leveraged CFD trading safe.

What can you trade with Deltastock?

Deltastock focuses primarily on leveraged trading products rather than conventional long-term investing.

The broker currently promotes access to forex CFDs, indices, gold and silver, energy markets, futures-related products and cryptocurrency CFDs. Its forex range includes close to 80 major, minor and exotic currency pairs.

There is one important inconsistency prospective equity traders should check before opening an account.

Deltastock’s homepage currently promotes real stocks, while another homepage message says real stocks are “coming soon”. More importantly, Deltastock’s dedicated shares trading-conditions page states that trading in CFDs on shares, ETFs, ETNs and ETPs has been temporarily suspended.

For that reason, anyone choosing Deltastock specifically for equities should confirm current availability directly with the broker instead of relying on older broker reviews or instrument counts.

That inconsistency is also why claims from older reviews that Deltastock offers hundreds or thousands of immediately tradable share CFDs should be treated cautiously.

Deltastock trading platforms: Delta Trading vs MetaTrader 5

Deltastock offers two current platforms: its proprietary Delta Trading platform and MetaTrader 5. MetaTrader 5 is the more familiar option for traders who already use the MetaTrader ecosystem, want Expert Advisors or rely on established MT5 charting and analysis tools. Deltastock supports desktop, web and mobile access to MetaTrader 5.

Delta Trading is Deltastock's own platform. It is available on desktop, web and mobile, although the desktop version has more functions than the web and mobile versions. Deltastock's comparison table shows that Delta Trading Desktop supports:

Some of these features are not available on the web or mobile versions. MetaTrader 5 suits traders who want Expert Advisors, automated trading tools or familiarity with the wider MetaTrader ecosystem.

Delta Trading suits traders who prefer Deltastock's own interface, its additional order functions and the platform's integrated account-management features. If you are unsure, use both demo versions before opening a funded account.

Which Deltastock platform is better?

Choose MetaTrader 5 if automated trading, Expert Advisors and familiarity with the wider MetaTrader ecosystem are priorities.

Choose Delta Trading if you want Deltastock’s own platform, its broader proprietary order functionality and integrated Deltastock research and account-management features.

Traders unsure which platform suits them should use the demo versions before opening a funded account.

Deltastock spreads, commissions and trading costs

Deltastock uses spread-based pricing on many CFD products and lists no commission for standard forex CFD trading.

The broker advertises forex spreads from 0.1 pips. That is a minimum advertised spread, not a guaranteed EUR/USD spread at every hour of the day. Deltastock warns that spreads can widen during periods of low liquidity or high volatility.

The current forex conditions include:

  • No forex trading commission
  • Minimum Delta Trading forex order of 1,000 units of the base currency
  • 0.01 contract minimum on MetaTrader 5, equivalent to 1,000 currency units
  • Retail forex margin requirements of 3.33% or 5%, depending on the currency pair
  • Professional forex margin as low as 0.5% on eligible pairs
  • Overnight swap charges or credits on positions held across trading days

The useful comparison is the live all-in cost for the instruments and trading hours you use. That means checking the spread, overnight financing and withdrawal charges rather than focusing only on the 0.1-pip starting figure.

Deltastock deposits and withdrawals

Deltastock supports bank transfer and bank-card funding, but its withdrawal conditions are less frictionless than those of brokers offering universally free withdrawals.

Deltastock currently supports bank wire transfers and Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards. ePay funding is also listed. The first deposit must come from a bank account held in the client’s own name, and Deltastock does not accept third-party payments.

Deposits from banks within the European Economic Area are listed with no Deltastock commission. Card deposits are also listed with no fee, although currency conversion or charges imposed by the card provider may still apply.

Withdrawals are less attractive.

Deltastock currently lists a 1.5% fee for Visa, Mastercard and Maestro withdrawals. Bank-wire withdrawals incur applicable transfer fees. For international bank transfers to a bank different from those used by Deltastock, the minimum withdrawal is €50.

Bank withdrawal requests are stated to require at least two business days for processing. Card refunds typically take around five business days to process and settle.

For frequent traders who regularly remove small amounts of money, those withdrawal costs deserve more attention than a small difference in advertised spreads.

What is the Deltastock minimum deposit?

Recent 2026 third-party account-opening tests report a minimum Deltastock deposit of about $100, or the equivalent amount in another supported account currency.

A 2026 Traders Union test states that it opened and funded a Deltastock account with a $100 minimum deposit. Another current broker database lists minimums beginning at $100 or €100, depending on the platform and account currency.

Funding requirements can vary by currency, platform and jurisdiction. Check the amount shown during the actual Deltastock account-opening process rather than relying on an older review.

Deltastock customer reviews and reputation

Public Deltastock reviews lean more positive than negative, but there are not enough recent independent reviews to treat customer ratings as strong evidence on their own.

Trustpilot currently shows Deltastock at approximately 3.9 out of 5 from 17 reviews. Recent visible comments praise Delta Trading, regulation and customer support, but 17 reviews is a very small sample for a financial company established in 1998.

Forex Peace Army lists a larger historical sample, with approximately 51 reviews and a 3.6 out of 5 rating. However, many of the reviews accumulated over a long period, so older comments may refer to previous platforms, trading conditions or policies that no longer apply.

The sensible conclusion is not that Deltastock has a flawless reputation or a poor one. It is that its public review footprint is too limited and historically mixed to outweigh current regulatory and contractual evidence.

For a broker review, licence status, client agreements, withdrawal rules and current trading conditions deserve more weight than a handful of anonymous star ratings.

Deltastock pros and cons

What Deltastock does well

  • Regulated by Bulgaria’s Financial Supervision Commission under MiFID II
  • Established in 1998
  • Negative balance protection for retail clients
  • Segregated client funds
  • Investor Compensation Fund protection for eligible claims
  • Choice between MetaTrader 5 and proprietary Delta Trading
  • Close to 80 forex currency pairs
  • No standard commission listed on forex CFDs
  • Demo accounts available
  • Advanced order functionality in Delta Trading Desktop

Where Deltastock is weaker

  • Card withdrawals currently carry a 1.5% fee
  • Bank-wire withdrawal costs can apply
  • Public customer-review volume is relatively small
  • Current equity-product information is inconsistent
  • Share, ETF, ETN and ETP CFDs are currently marked as temporarily suspended
  • Product availability and payment methods vary by jurisdiction
  • Professional accounts lose some retail protections in exchange for higher leverage
  • Traders looking for copy trading or a large social-trading ecosystem may find other brokers more suitable

Who is Deltastock best for?

Deltastock is best suited to European traders who mainly trade forex and CFDs, value EU regulation and want a choice between MetaTrader 5 and a proprietary platform.

It may suit traders who:

  • want an EU-regulated broker rather than an offshore CFD provider
  • trade forex, indices, metals, energy or cryptocurrency CFDs
  • use MetaTrader 5 or want to test Delta Trading
  • value negative balance protection and an investor compensation framework
  • prefer a broker with a long operating history

Deltastock is less suitable for investors whose main goal is buying and holding shares, traders who expect free and fast withdrawals, or anyone looking for a large copy-trading community.

Is Deltastock good for beginners?

Deltastock can work for beginners because it offers demo accounts, educational resources, negative balance protection and a reported minimum deposit that is relatively accessible.

CFDs are still difficult products for new traders. Deltastock's own disclosure says that 58% of its retail CFD accounts lose money. Beginners should understand leverage, margin close-outs, spread widening and overnight financing before using a live account.

For a new trader, the demo account matters more than the minimum deposit.

Is Deltastock available in every country?

No. Deltastock says that its services are not intended for jurisdictions where distribution would breach local rules, and restrictions apply in specific markets.

Spain is one example. Deltastock states that its advertising and marketing materials are not intended for Spanish retail clients for regulatory reasons. Its funding page also says that Spanish clients cannot use bank cards for deposits and withdrawals because of CNMV restrictions.

Confirm that Deltastock accepts clients from your country before depositing.

Deltastock review: final verdict

Deltastock is a legitimate EU-regulated broker, not an obvious scam, and it deserves consideration from traders looking for forex and CFD access through MetaTrader 5 or Delta Trading.

Its strongest points are straightforward: Deltastock AD has operated since 1998, is regulated by Bulgaria’s Financial Supervision Commission, provides retail negative balance protection, states that client funds are segregated and participates in Bulgaria’s Investor Compensation Fund.

The trade-offs are equally clear. Card withdrawals cost 1.5%, public customer-review evidence is relatively thin, and the broker’s current share-related offering needs clarification because its own pages provide conflicting messages while share and ETF CFDs are marked as temporarily suspended.

The bottom line: Deltastock is a credible shortlist candidate for EU forex and CFD traders, but I would not choose it purely from its advertised spreads or longevity. Compare the live trading costs on your actual instruments, test both platforms through a demo account, confirm the products available in your jurisdiction and read the current withdrawal tariff before funding an account.

Most importantly, verify that you are using deltastock.com. Deltastock has explicitly warned that several similarly named websites are unrelated to Deltastock AD.
