Currency traders comparing spread-based and commission-based accounts with a specific platform or automation workflow in mind.

What to check first

Confirm regional availability, the regulated entity, leverage limits and rollover costs. Forex and CFD losses can accumulate quickly.

Overview

ADSS is worth considering primarily for UAE-based forex and CFD traders who want a locally established broker, a $100 entry-level account and access to ADSS Trading, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. However, ADSS is not an automatic recommendation. Its public pricing information contains several inconsistencies, leverage can reach 500:1, and traders should verify the exact regulatory permissions and account terms that apply to them before depositing money.

The strongest case for ADSS is its UAE focus. ADS Securities L.L.C - S.P.C is based in Abu Dhabi, ADSS says it operates under UAE Capital Market Authority regulation, and the broker supports local features including UAE Pass and the UAE Funds Transfer System payment gateway.

The weaker part of the proposition is transparency. Different ADSS pages currently give conflicting information on some account requirements, while the broker's public forex pricing refers to an "Elite+" tier that does not appear on its main account comparison page. That does not make ADSS illegitimate, but it does mean prospective clients should check the live Client Portal and contractual documents rather than relying on headline marketing figures.

Research checked: 10 September 2026. This ADSS review is based on current regulatory records, ADSS legal and product documents, public pricing information and independent third-party data. It is not presented as a funded-account or first-hand execution test.

Is ADSS safe and legitimate?

ADSS is an established UAE financial-services business, but traders should confirm the current CMA licence record before funding an account.

ADSS states that ADS Securities L.L.C - S.P.C is authorised by the UAE Capital Market Authority under Category 1 licence 305027 and Category 5 licence 20200000217. The Category 1 description published by ADSS covers trading in international markets, OTC derivatives and spot currencies.

There is an unusual point worth checking rather than glossing over. A recent independent review says it verified the firm's current CMA register reference, CP-0000786, as carrying a dealing permission. However, the CMA page reached through ADSS's own "View licence record" link produced a contradictory warning during our current crawl stating that the displayed company held only a Category 5 licence and was not authorised for derivatives or Spot FX brokerage.

This may be a register or page-rendering problem rather than evidence that ADSS has lost its dealing permission. It is still too important to ignore. Before depositing, check CP-0000786 directly on the CMA register and confirm that the legal entity on your account agreement has permission for the products you plan to trade.

Is ADSS still FCA regulated in the UK?

The current ADSS offering should not be treated as FCA regulated simply because older reviews describe it that way.

ADS Securities London Limited previously held FCA reference number 577453. Companies House records that company as dissolved on 21 August 2025. ADSS's current main legal disclosure identifies the UAE entity and UAE CMA regulation instead.

This distinction matters because some broker-review pages still repeat historical UK regulatory information. A review for a 2026 decision should separate the former UK business from the entity currently offering the account.

What are the main advantages and disadvantages of ADSS?

AdvantagesDisadvantages
UAE-based broker with local infrastructureSome public pricing and account information is inconsistent
Classic account starts at $100Up to 500:1 leverage substantially increases risk
ADSS Platform, MT4 and MT5 availableDo not assume UK FCA protection based on old reviews
60+ forex pairs plus multiple CFD marketsGeneral withdrawal schedule includes a minimum charge
UAE Pass and local funding optionsOvernight funding can materially affect longer-held CFD positions
24/5 multilingual supportRegulatory record should be independently verified before funding
Demo account availableNot an obvious best choice for traders outside its core UAE market

ADSS's main advantages are its UAE presence, low Classic-account deposit, range of platforms and local onboarding options. Its main disadvantages are inconsistent public information, high available leverage and the need to verify the current regulatory record. ADSS makes the strongest case when its UAE-specific services matter to you. It is a weaker fit if you are comparing global CFD brokers mainly on price or need protection under a particular non-UAE regulatory regime.

ADSS account types and minimum deposit

The Classic account is the cheapest published route into live ADSS trading, with a minimum deposit of $100.

ADSS currently advertises three principal account levels:

AccountPublished minimumKey features
Classic$100Market spreads, up to 500:1 leverage, 24/5 support, training
Elite$25,00025% lower spreads, relationship manager, multi-base currency
Pro$25,000Spreads from zero, low commissions, relationship manager and sales trader

These figures come from ADSS's current main account page.

There is a discrepancy between ADSS pages. An index-trading page says Elite and Pro accounts require $100,000, while the main account page says $25,000. The main account page is the more relevant source for the published account comparison, but high-value depositors should confirm the required threshold before transferring funds.

ADSS's forex pages also quote pricing for an Elite+ tier, including EUR/USD spreads "from 0.7", even though Elite+ is absent from the current main account comparison.

That detail should be clarified before opening an account.

How competitive are ADSS spreads and trading fees?

ADSS may offer competitive spreads, but the public information is not consistent enough to call it cheap across all accounts and instruments.

ADSS currently advertises the following Elite+ forex spreads:

Forex pairPublished spread fromPublished maximum leverage
EUR/USD0.7 pips500:1
GBP/USD0.9 pips500:1
USD/JPY0.7 pips500:1
NZD/JPY2.0 pips200:1
USD/CNH5.9 pips50:1

Published spread by pair

The majors are competitive; the exotics are where the cost sits.

0.7 pips
USD/JPY
0.7 pips
GBP/USD
0.9 pips
NZD/JPY
2.0 pips
USD/CNH

These are "from" prices rather than guaranteed average spreads, and ADSS says spreads can widen according to market conditions.

Those results provide useful context, but they are not a promise of what every ADSS customer will receive.

ADSS overnight fees

Yes. Cash CFD positions held beyond the end of the trading day can incur daily financing charges.

ADSS's Schedule of Charges says forex financing is calculated using the underlying tom-next rate. Positions held through Wednesday can incur three days of carry because of settlement conventions.

For swing traders, the spread is only part of the cost. A position that looks inexpensive to open can become much more expensive when it remains leveraged for days or weeks.

Does ADSS charge withdrawal fees?

Yes. The general ADSS Schedule of Charges states that a minimum $15 withdrawal charge applies.

The same document says standard domestic bank-transfer deposits do not incur a receiving charge from ADSS, although card issuers may apply their own fees. Currency conversions can include a markup of up to 1%.

There are product-specific exceptions. ADSS's current UAE stock-investing promotion advertises no withdrawal fee for that offering. Traders should therefore distinguish promotional stock-investment terms from the general CFD account schedule.

A proper cost comparison should include:

Which trading platforms does ADSS offer?

ADSS offers three main trading platforms: the proprietary ADSS Trading Platform, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The proprietary ADSS platform is available on mobile and desktop. It supports CFD trading and, where available, direct stock and ETF investing. ADSS lists one-click trading, risk-management tools and market information within the platform. It is likely to suit less technical users who want to manage their ADSS products through one interface. MetaTrader 4 remains available for traders who use MT4 indicators, Expert Advisors or established forex workflows. For existing MT4 users, staying with the platform may be simpler than rebuilding a strategy on a different system. MetaTrader 5 is the stronger option for traders who need additional timeframes, Depth of Market, more order types or more capable strategy testing. ADSS says its MT5 implementation provides 38 technical indicators, 44 graphical objects, 21 timeframes, six pending-order types and automated trading through Expert Advisors. For most experienced traders starting fresh with ADSS, MT5 would be my choice unless an existing MT4 strategy or integration requires MT4.

ADSS Trading Platform

The proprietary ADSS platform is available on mobile and desktop and supports CFD trading as well as direct stock and ETF investing where available. ADSS highlights one-click trading, integrated risk-management features and market information inside the platform.

This is probably the most natural option for less technical users who want the complete ADSS ecosystem.

MetaTrader 4

MetaTrader 4 remains available for traders who already use MT4 indicators, Expert Advisors or familiar forex workflows. ADSS continues to support MT4 alongside its newer alternatives.

MetaTrader 5

MetaTrader 5 is the stronger choice for traders who need more advanced order functionality, additional timeframes, Depth of Market and more capable strategy testing.

ADSS says its MT5 implementation provides 38 technical indicators, 44 graphical objects, 21 timeframes, six pending-order types and support for automated trading through Expert Advisors.

For most experienced traders starting fresh with ADSS, MT5 is the platform I would choose unless an existing MT4 strategy or integration requires MT4.

What can you trade with ADSS?

ADSS covers the main asset classes expected from a multi-asset forex and CFD broker.

Its current market offering includes more than 60 forex pairs plus CFDs on equities, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies and fixed-income instruments.

Notable examples include:

  • Forex pairs such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY and emerging-market currencies
  • Equity CFDs on companies including Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla, Meta Platforms, Microsoft and Amazon
  • Index CFDs including the Dow Jones, Nasdaq-related indices and FTSE 100
  • Commodity CFDs including gold, silver, Brent crude, WTI crude, natural gas, coffee, copper and agricultural products
  • Cryptocurrency CFDs including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash
  • Bond and interest-rate products including US T-Bonds, Gilts, Bunds and Euribor-related instruments
  • Direct UAE and US stock investing through supported ADSS products

One distinction matters: buying a stock and trading a stock CFD are not the same transaction. Direct investing gives ownership exposure to shares, while a CFD is a leveraged derivative based on the underlying price.

How much leverage does ADSS offer?

ADSS advertises leverage of up to 500:1 on selected forex, index and commodity products.

That level may suit experienced leveraged traders, but it also creates a substantial risk of rapid losses. At 500:1, a small price movement can produce a large change in account equity.

ADSS's UAE risk disclosure states that CFD losses can exceed the funds in an account.

Do not assume that negative-balance protection applies because another broker offers it in another jurisdiction. Confirm the protections in the agreement governing your ADSS account.

Does ADSS offer a demo account?

Yes. ADSS offers a demo account for traders who want to test its platforms without risking live capital.

The demo account is useful because ADSS provides three different platform environments. Traders familiar with MetaTrader may prefer MT5, while other users can compare the proprietary platform before opening a live position.

Does ADSS offer Islamic or swap-free accounts?

Yes, ADSS says conventional and Islamic swap-free accounts are available. The public information is not consistent enough to assume that every instrument or platform qualifies.

ADSS's learning centre says Islamic swap-free accounts are offered. A separate ADSS platform guide states that swap-free accounts are not currently available on the proprietary platform.

If swap-free treatment is important for religious or trading-cost reasons, obtain the actual terms for your chosen account, product and platform before opening positions. Do not rely on the phrase "Islamic account" alone.

What is ADSS customer support like?

ADSS provides customer support 24 hours a day, five days a week, with several language options.

The broker lists support in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, French and German. Higher-tier accounts receive additional relationship-management support.

Public customer reviews are broadly positive, but the sample is too small to say much about execution or withdrawals. Trustpilot showed approximately a 4/5 TrustScore from fewer than 30 reviews around September 2026. The reviews included strong positive feedback and a smaller group of one-star complaints.

That sample is not enough to assess execution quality, withdrawal reliability or overall broker safety.

Who should use ADSS?

ADSS is best suited to UAE residents who want local brokerage infrastructure alongside MetaTrader and access to international CFD markets.

It may suit you if you want:

  • a UAE-focused broker with an Abu Dhabi presence
  • a $100 entry point rather than a high initial deposit
  • MT4 or MT5 support
  • access to forex plus equities, indices, commodities and other CFD markets
  • UAE Pass onboarding and locally relevant payment infrastructure
  • direct UAE stock investing alongside leveraged trading
  • Arabic and multilingual customer support

The case is weaker if your priority is a clear public fee schedule, an active FCA-regulated UK entity, guaranteed negative-balance protection or the lowest trading costs across every asset class.

Is ADSS a scam?

No evidence reviewed here supports calling ADSS itself a scam.

That does not mean every ADSS product is low risk or that every customer experience will be positive. CFD trading itself is high risk, and regulatory protection, leverage, execution costs and contractual terms should be assessed separately from the simplistic question of whether a broker is "real".

There have also been FCA warnings about clone businesses using ADS Securities branding or details. Access ADSS through verified official channels rather than unsolicited messages or lookalike websites.

ADSS review verdict

ADSS is a reasonable option for UAE-based forex and CFD traders, provided they verify the account terms and regulatory position before depositing.

The two checks that matter most are:

1. Confirm the CMA permission attached to the legal entity in the account agreement. 2. Confirm the live spread, commission, financing and withdrawal terms for the account you intend to open. ADSS's UAE presence, $100 Classic account, platform range and local payment options make it relevant to its target market. The inconsistencies in account thresholds, the unexplained Elite+ pricing tier and the conflicting regulatory information are the reasons to check the details carefully.

For a UAE trader, those issues justify verification rather than an automatic rejection. For someone outside the UAE with no need for its regional services, there is less reason to accept unclear public information when comparing international brokers.

Final verdict: ADSS belongs on a UAE trader's shortlist, but verify the contract, licence and total trading costs before funding the account.
