Overview

AAAFx is a legitimate operating forex and CFD broker, but the current AAAFx offering is not one I would choose primarily for regulatory safety. The live aaafx.com website currently identifies the operating company as AAAFx Global Ltd in the Comoros Union, advertising licence number BFX2025097, maximum leverage of up to 1:500, raw spreads from 0.0 pips, and access to MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.

The attraction is obvious: aggressive leverage, ECN-style pricing, MT4/MT5, copy-trading options and a low barrier to entry.

The trade-off is regulation. AAAFx has historical connections with regulated European and South African entities, but traders should not assume those protections automatically apply to an account opened through the current aaafx.com website. The current site prominently names the Comoros entity rather than the former Greek AAAFx entity.

Our verdict: AAAFx makes the most sense for experienced traders who specifically want high leverage, ECN pricing or the MetaTrader/ZuluTrade ecosystem and understand offshore-counterparty risk. Traders prioritising strong investor protection, straightforward regulatory coverage and large account balances have better options elsewhere.

Is AAAFx legit or a scam?

AAAFx is not an obvious scam based on the evidence we reviewed, but that does not make it a low-risk broker.

The important distinction is between whether a broker exists and operates and how strongly a trader is protected if something goes wrong.

The current AAAFx website identifies AAAFx Global Ltd, gives a registered address in Fomboni, Comoros, and displays licence number BFX2025097. The company also operates established MT4 and MT5 infrastructure and has a substantial history of public customer reviews.

However, independently verifying the current Comoros regulatory arrangement is less straightforward than checking a major European financial-services register. One contemporary regulatory database lists BFX2025097 from AAAFx's published disclosure but says it had not independently matched that licence against a confirmed public authority register at the time of checking.

That uncertainty matters more than whether the homepage looks professional.

If regulatory protection is your primary criterion, the question should therefore be:

Which legal entity will actually hold my trading account and client money?

Get that answer from the client agreement shown during registration, not from an old AAAFx review or a historical regulatory badge.

Is AAAFx regulated?

The current aaafx.com website presents AAAFx Global Ltd as registered in the Comoros Union under licence number BFX2025097.

This is where many AAAFx reviews become outdated.

AAAFx historically operated through Triple A Experts Investment Services Single Member S.A., a Greek investment firm authorised by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission under registration number 2/540/17.2.2010. Older legal documents still hosted on AAAFx-related infrastructure describe that entity as an EU-regulated broker.

Eligible clients of that Greek investment firm historically had access to an investor compensation arrangement with compensation capped at €30,000 per client for qualifying claims.

But the corporate picture changed.

European regulatory records show that Triple A Experts Investment Services Single Member S.A. changed its legal name to Blockmaze Greece Investment Services Single Member Société Anonyme on 27 May 2026. The current TripleAExperts website also identifies Blockmaze Greece as its operator.

Meanwhile, aaafx.com currently names AAAFx Global Ltd in Comoros in its footer.

That means an old statement such as “AAAFx is an EU broker regulated by the HCMC” is no longer sufficient to establish the protection applying to a new account at aaafx.com.

AAAFx trading fees and spreads

AAAFx's headline trading costs are competitive, particularly for traders seeking raw-spread accounts.

The current AAAFx homepage advertises the following headline pricing:

ECN

Minimum advertised spread
0.0 pips
Published commission
$2.50 per $100K
Maximum leverage
1:500

ECN Zero

Minimum advertised spread

ECN Plus

Maximum leverage

Islamic

Minimum advertised spread
0.0 pips on the current homepage
Published commission
$2.50 per $100K
Maximum leverage
1:500

Do not interpret a 0.0-pip minimum spread as meaning every trade costs zero.

A minimum spread is the best advertised starting point. The actual cost depends on the live spread when the order is executed, commission, position size, instrument and any overnight financing charges.

For active traders, the more useful comparison is therefore average all-in execution cost, not whichever broker can put “0.0 pips” in the largest font.

AAAFx does not currently publish enough independently verifiable average execution data on its homepage for us to claim it is cheaper than a specific competitor across normal market conditions.

What is the AAAFx minimum deposit?

AAAFx appears to allow relatively small starting deposits, but its own indexed pages currently contain conflicting account-deposit figures.

This is worth flagging because many competing reviews repeat a single number without checking the current site.

One indexed AAAFx page lists:

  • ECN: $10
  • ECN Plus: $1,000
  • ECN Zero: $1,000
  • Islamic: $100

But further down the same AAAFx page, the ECN Zero account is displayed with a $50,000 minimum deposit.

That is an internal data inconsistency on AAAFx's own published page.

The sensible move is to treat the deposit requirement shown inside the actual account-opening flow as authoritative before transferring money.

Which trading platforms does AAAFx offer?

AAAFx supports MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, while parts of its site also promote ActTrader and ZuluTrade.

The current AAAFx platform pages describe:

  • MetaTrader 4 (MT4): suitable for forex trading, custom indicators and Expert Advisors.
  • MetaTrader 5 (MT5): the newer MetaQuotes platform with broader multi-asset functionality.
  • ActTrader: an alternative trading terminal with algorithmic strategy functionality.
  • ZuluTrade: social and copy trading, allowing users to follow selected traders.

For automated traders already running MetaTrader Expert Advisors, AAAFx's platform support is one of its stronger points.

The broker also promotes VPS hosting for traders running automated systems continuously.

What can you trade with AAAFx?

AAAFx is a multi-asset CFD broker, rather than a platform for taking direct ownership of shares or cryptocurrency.

Its current marketing materials cover major categories including:

Forex, stock CFDs, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies.

That distinction matters.

When you trade a CFD, you are trading a derivative whose value follows the underlying market. You do not normally acquire ownership of the underlying share, cryptocurrency or commodity.

AAAFx is therefore better compared with other leveraged forex and CFD brokers than with conventional stockbrokers or crypto exchanges.

AAAFx leverage: up to 1:500

AAAFx advertises leverage of up to 1:500 across its main account types.

At 1:500 leverage, $1 of margin can theoretically control $500 of market exposure, subject to instrument-specific margin requirements.

That is attractive if high leverage is the reason you are considering an offshore broker, but it substantially increases how quickly trading losses can accumulate.

AAAFx also advertises negative balance protection, stating that eligible negative balances are reset so clients do not owe more than their deposited account balance.

Negative balance protection limits one type of risk. It does not make highly leveraged CFD trading low risk.

Deposits and withdrawals

AAAFx currently advertises free deposits and withdrawals and supports cryptocurrency funding alongside conventional payment methods.

The more interesting evidence comes from actual customer-review patterns.

As of September 2026, AAAFx had a 4.5/5 Trustpilot score from roughly 259 reviews. Recent positive reviews frequently mention responsive support, deposits and successful withdrawals. Trustpilot's own review summary nevertheless highlights complaints from some customers about withdrawal delays and difficulties receiving funds.

Forex Peace Army shows a materially weaker picture, with a rating of approximately 2.88/5 from 113 reviews at its August 2026 update.

Neither review platform proves whether you personally will have a withdrawal problem.

The discrepancy is useful because it tells us not to reduce broker due diligence to one star rating.

For any offshore broker, I would test the operational side before scaling the balance:

  • Complete KYC before funding heavily.
  • Make an initial deposit.
  • Place normal trades.
  • Request a small withdrawal.
  • Confirm the withdrawal actually reaches your payment account.
  • Only then decide whether the execution and counterparty risk justify a larger balance.

That test tells you more about your real account setup than another 20 affiliate reviews.

AAAFx customer support

AAAFx advertises live support 24 hours a day, five days a week, from Monday to Friday.

Support is one of the strongest recurring themes in current Trustpilot reviews. Customers often mention quick live-chat responses and individual agents helping with account issues.

The limitation is that support is not available 24/7. Traders holding cryptocurrency or other positions over the weekend should take that into account.

AAAFx pros and cons

ProsCons
Raw spreads advertised from 0.0 pipsCurrent primary regulatory entity is offshore
Maximum leverage up to 1:500Regulatory information across older reviews and legal pages is inconsistent
MT4 and MT5 supportNo assumption should be made that historic EU compensation protection covers a new aaafx.com account
ECN and commission-free account optionsAAAFx's own indexed pages conflict on some minimum-deposit figures
ZuluTrade/social-trading supportUser-review sentiment varies sharply between platforms
Negative balance protection advertisedHigh leverage substantially increases trading risk
Islamic account available24/5 rather than 24/7 support
Generally strong current Trustpilot support feedbackNot the strongest choice for traders whose main priority is regulatory protection

Who is AAAFx best for?

AAAFx is best suited to experienced CFD and forex traders who deliberately value trading flexibility over the strongest available regulatory protection.

The main reasons to consider it are:

  • leverage of up to 1:500;
  • MT4 or MT5;
  • Expert Advisor and automated trading support;
  • ECN-style pricing;
  • ZuluTrade or social-trading functionality;
  • cryptocurrency funding;
  • an Islamic trading-account option.

The regulatory trade-off should be treated as part of the decision, not as a minor detail.

I would be less comfortable with AAAFx for someone planning to keep a large share of their liquid capital with one broker and relying on strong legal recourse if the broker fails.

Who should avoid AAAFx?

Safety-first traders should look elsewhere if strong regulatory protection matters more than leverage and raw spreads.

AAAFx is a weaker fit if you want a broker whose current client agreement clearly places your account under a major domestic regulator, with an easily verified public register and an established compensation or dispute-resolution framework.

The broker is also unsuitable for US residents. AAAFx lists the United States among the jurisdictions it does not serve, along with several other restricted countries.

AAAFx vs AAFX Trading: they are not the same broker

AAAFx and AAFX Trading are different entities.

AAAFx uses aaafx.com.

AAFX Trading uses aafxtrading.com.

This distinction matters because reviews, complaints and regulatory information relating to AAFX Trading can easily become mixed into searches for AAAFx due to the nearly identical names. Trustpilot maintains separate profiles for the two businesses.

Always check the domain and legal entity before treating a complaint or licence as evidence about AAAFx.

Is AAAFx safe?

AAAFx has several operational safety features, but I would rate its regulatory protection as the bigger weakness.

AAAFx advertises segregated client accounts, negative balance protection and a long operating history.

Those are positive signals.

They are not equivalent to knowing that your specific trading account sits within a strong investor-protection regime.

Because the current website names AAAFx Global Ltd in Comoros, traders should verify the legal entity, governing law, complaint procedure and regulatory licence contained in their individual client agreement before depositing a meaningful balance.

Is AAAFx good for beginners?

AAAFx would not be my first broker choice for a complete beginner.

The $10-style entry point advertised on parts of its website makes starting easy, and MT4/MT5 offer plenty of educational resources elsewhere.

But easy account opening plus 1:500 leverage is not necessarily a good beginner combination.

A new trader benefits more from clear regulation, conservative leverage and a simple cost structure than from maximising available buying power.

AAAFx becomes more compelling once a trader knows exactly why they want its ECN structure, MetaTrader ecosystem or offshore leverage.

Final verdict: is AAAFx worth using in 2026?

AAAFx is a credible option for a specific type of experienced trader, but it is not our top choice for regulatory safety.

The broker's strongest attributes are straightforward: competitive headline pricing, raw spreads from 0.0 pips, MT4 and MT5, high leverage, negative balance protection, multiple account structures and social-trading support.

The reason for caution is equally straightforward.

The live aaafx.com website now identifies AAAFx Global Ltd in Comoros, while much of the regulatory reputation attached to the AAAFx name comes from the broker's older relationship with the Greek HCMC-regulated Triple A Experts entity. That Greek company was renamed Blockmaze Greece in May 2026.

Those are not details to bury in the small print. They materially change how a prospective customer should assess the broker.

AAAFx gets a qualified yes for experienced traders deliberately seeking its trading conditions. It gets a no from us for anyone whose number-one requirement is the strongest possible regulatory protection.

Before opening an account, check the legal entity in the current client agreement, verify the licence attached to that entity and make a successful test withdrawal before committing a substantial balance.

Reviewed against information available in September 2026. Forex and CFD trading involves substantial risk, particularly when leverage is used.

This version deliberately makes the current entity/regulation discrepancy the information-gain angle, rather than producing another interchangeable “pros, cons, MT4, minimum deposit” affiliate review.
