Who should consider it

Currency traders comparing spread-based and commission-based accounts with a specific platform or automation workflow in mind.

What to check first

Confirm regional availability, the regulated entity, leverage limits and rollover costs. Forex and CFD losses can accumulate quickly.

Overview

TMGM is a legitimate, multi-regulated forex and CFD broker that is particularly competitive for traders who want MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, raw-spread pricing and a wide CFD range. The strongest reason to consider TMGM is its Edge account, which combines spreads from 0.0 pips with a $7 round-turn forex commission per standard lot.

The main caveat is regulation. TMGM operates through several legal entities, including an ASIC-regulated Australian company and offshore entities in Vanuatu, Seychelles and Mauritius. Your protections depend on which entity actually holds your account, so checking the legal entity before depositing is more important than simply asking whether “TMGM is regulated”.

Our verdictStrong MT4/MT5 broker, but jurisdiction matters

TMGM's current website advertises spreads from 0.0 pips, a $100 minimum deposit and leverage of up to 1:1000. Those terms do not apply to every client. Leverage, available products and account conditions depend on the legal entity and jurisdiction.

Is TMGM a good broker?

Yes. TMGM is a good option for traders who want competitive forex pricing, MT4 or MT5 and access to leveraged CFDs. It is a weaker fit for traders who require cTrader, native TradingView execution or identical regulatory protections in every country.

The Edge account is TMGM's better option for frequent forex traders. It uses raw spreads from 0.0 pips and charges approximately $3.50 per side, or $7 for a round-turn trade on one standard forex lot. Classic has no separate commission, but spreads start from around 1.0 pip.

FXEmpire's live-account test on 12 March 2026 recorded a 0.9-pip EUR/USD spread on Classic and 0.0 pips on Edge. The calculated EUR/USD trading cost was $9 on Classic and $7 on Edge for the tested trade size. These results are observations from specific test windows, not guaranteed spreads. Actual pricing changes with liquidity and market conditions.

What we like about TMGM

  • Competitive Edge account pricing for active forex traders
  • MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 support
  • Expert Advisors and automated trading supported
  • ASIC-regulated option for eligible Australian clients
  • CFDs across currencies, metals, indices, shares, oil and cryptocurrencies
  • Swap-free account options
  • Demo accounts available
  • No TMGM funding fee on many supported deposit and withdrawal methods

What to consider before opening an account

  • Regulation varies significantly between the Australian and offshore entities
  • cTrader is not part of TMGM's main platform offering
  • Native TradingView trading is not a core TMGM platform option
  • Swap and overnight financing costs can materially affect longer-held positions
  • Published minimum-deposit information is inconsistent across parts of TMGM's current website
  • Public reviews include complaints involving withdrawals, account restrictions and slippage, although those individual allegations cannot be independently verified

Is TMGM legit or a scam?

TMGM is a legitimate regulated broker, not an anonymous or unlicensed trading website. The important qualification is that TMGM does not operate under one universal regulatory framework.

TMGM currently lists four regulated operating entities:

TMGM entityRegulatorLicence
Trademax Australia LimitedAustralian Securities and Investments CommissionAFSL 436416
Trademax Global LimitedVanuatu Financial Services Commission40356
Trademax Global Markets (SE) LimitedFinancial Services Authority of SeychellesSD224
Trademax Global Markets (International) Pty LtdFinancial Services Commission MauritiusGB22201012

TMGM publishes these entities on its regulatory supervision page. Australian government records also show Trademax Australia Limited as an active Australian public company. The company's Australian financial services licence dates back to 2013.

The entity on your account-opening documents determines the protections that apply. Australian retail clients trading CFDs through the ASIC-regulated entity receive protections that include leverage restrictions, standardised margin close-out arrangements and negative balance protection. ASIC currently caps retail CFD leverage at:

An offshore TMGM account can offer much higher leverage. TMGM's VFSC trading conditions, for example, list leverage of up to 1:1000 for several major forex pairs.

Higher leverage increases the market exposure controlled by the same amount of capital. Losses can build faster as a result.

Before funding an account, check the company name on the client agreement and account-opening documents. An ASIC licence does not protect an account opened with a different TMGM entity.

How safe is TMGM?

TMGM has the features normally associated with an established CFD broker, including regulated entities, published legal documents, client-money segregation claims and a formal complaints process. TMGM says client money is held with an Australian authorised deposit-taking institution and names National Australia Bank as a banking provider.

ASIC regulation gives Australian retail clients additional protections, including leverage restrictions and negative balance protection. That addresses broker and account protections, not the risk of the trade itself.

CFDs are leveraged products. Traders can lose substantial amounts through adverse price movements, spreads, financing charges and execution conditions.

Broker safety and investment risk are separate questions.

TMGM fees and spreads

TMGM's two main account structures suit different trading habits: Edge is generally more suitable for frequent or higher-volume forex trading. Classic is easier to price at a glance because there is no separate trading commission. The Edge account offers: CompareForexBrokers published independent spread data in September 2026 showing an average raw EUR/USD spread of 0.20 pips for TMGM. Its comparison dataset showed a 0.69-pip overall average across the currency pairs tested. Those figures are observed averages, not fixed trading conditions. The Classic account has no separate commission, with TMGM advertising spreads from 1.0 pip. This structure may suit less frequent traders who prefer a single spread-based cost. Active traders should compare the total cost with Edge rather than assuming that a commission-free account is cheaper. Yes. Positions held overnight may incur swap or financing charges. The 0.0-pip headline does not show the full cost of holding a position for days or weeks. Spread, commission and swap should be assessed together. FXEmpire's 2026 testing found TMGM's trading spreads competitive overall but reported relatively high swap charges on some positions, including its tested Dow Jones 30 position. Swap rates change, so check the current instrument-specific rates in MT4 or MT5 before opening a longer-term trade.

TMGM Edge account

The Edge account offers:

  • Spreads from 0.0 pips
  • Approximately $3.50 commission per side on one standard forex lot
  • Approximately $7 commission per complete round turn
  • MT4 and MT5 compatibility
  • Expert Advisor support
  • Swap-free availability for eligible clients

Independent spread data published in September 2026 by CompareForexBrokers listed TMGM's average raw EUR/USD spread at 0.20 pips, against a 0.69-pip overall average across the currency pairs in its comparison dataset. These are observed and published figures, not guaranteed trading conditions.

TMGM Classic account

The Classic account is commission-free, with TMGM advertising spreads from 1.0 pip.

This structure is easier to understand because the main transaction cost is built into the bid-ask spread. It can make sense for less frequent traders, but active traders should compare the total spread cost with Edge rather than choosing Classic simply because the commission is zero.

Are there overnight fees?

Yes. Positions held overnight may be subject to swap or financing charges.

This is one area where the headline “0.0 pips” number can give an incomplete picture. A trader holding positions for days or weeks should assess spread, commission and swap together.

FXEmpire's 2026 testing found TMGM's trading spreads competitive overall but identified relatively high swap charges on some positions, including its tested Dow Jones 30 position. Swap rates change over time, so current instrument-specific rates should be checked inside MT4 or MT5 before entering a longer-term trade.

What can you trade with TMGM?

TMGM is primarily a forex and CFD broker.

Its current product range includes:

  • Forex
  • Precious metals such as gold and silver
  • Cryptocurrency CFDs
  • Oil
  • Global share CFDs
  • Stock indices

TMGM states that its forex offering includes more than 50 currency pairs on its current CFD page, while another current forex page advertises 60+ currency pairs. This discrepancy is another reason to check the instrument list available inside the specific account and jurisdiction rather than relying on a universal product count.

TMGM also offers thousands of global share CFDs according to its current product material. Availability can differ between platforms and regions.

TMGM trading platforms

TMGM is best suited to traders who want the MetaTrader ecosystem. Its principal platforms are MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and the TMGM mobile app. TMGM's MT4 setup supports charting, Expert Advisors, hedging and scalping. TMGM says it does not impose scalping restrictions on the platform. MT4 remains useful for traders who already have indicators, robots and trading workflows built around it. MT5 includes more order-management tools, analytical features and strategy-testing functions. TMGM offers MT5 on desktop, mobile and WebTrader.

MT5 is generally the better starting point for a new trader who does not already depend on an MT4 setup. TMGM is less suitable if your trading process depends on cTrader or native TradingView order execution. Platform fit matters. A tighter spread does not help much if the broker's platform prevents you from using the tools and execution process you rely on.

MetaTrader 4

TMGM's MT4 setup supports charting, automated Expert Advisors, hedging and scalping. TMGM says it does not impose scalping restrictions on the platform.

MT4 remains useful for forex traders with existing indicators, robots and workflows built around the platform.

MetaTrader 5

MT5 adds more advanced order management, analytical tools and strategy-testing functionality. TMGM offers MT5 through desktop, mobile and WebTrader interfaces.

For a new trader without a legacy MT4 setup, MT5 is generally the more future-facing MetaTrader option.

What is missing?

TMGM is less attractive if your trading process is built around cTrader or native TradingView order execution.

This is one of the clearer reasons to choose a competitor instead. A slightly tighter spread does not compensate for forcing an active trader onto the wrong execution platform.

TMGM minimum deposit

TMGM's main website currently advertises a $100 minimum deposit for its standard offering, but its own current pages are inconsistent on this point.

TMGM's homepage advertises a $100 minimum deposit. Its deposit page also displays $100 minimums for several major account currencies and payment methods.

However, parts of TMGM's account and platform documentation currently state that no minimum deposit is required. TMGM also offers a region-specific Cent Account advertised with a starting deposit of $15.

For that reason, $100 is the safer figure to budget for a normal TMGM account, but the actual requirement should be confirmed in the client portal for your country, account type and funding method.

That is more accurate than pretending TMGM currently publishes one universal minimum.

TMGM deposits and withdrawals

TMGM supports bank transfers, cards, wallets and regional payment methods. Availability depends on location.

The broker advertises a $0 fee on many supported deposit and withdrawal methods. Intermediary banks, currency conversion and payment providers may charge separately.

Funding times also vary. TMGM lists some electronic deposits as instant or available within minutes, while bank-related methods can take approximately one to four business days.

Does TMGM have withdrawal problems?

There is not enough reliable evidence to say that TMGM systematically refuses legitimate withdrawals.

There are negative customer reports, however, and they should not be dismissed without checking the details.

As of September 2026, TMGM's Trustpilot profile has a 4.0/5 TrustScore from approximately 1,022 reviews. About 84% of reviews are five-star and 10% are one-star. Trustpilot's summary includes positive comments about staff and customer service, along with complaints about delayed withdrawals and difficulty accessing funds.

Some recent reviewers have alleged slippage, account closures and disputes over balances or withdrawals. These are customer allegations, not independently proven findings. TMGM disputes or redirects some cases through its formal complaints process.

The rating alone does not settle the question.

Complete KYC early, read the account terms covering prohibited trading and withdrawals, make an initial small withdrawal and keep records of deposits and trading activity before committing substantial capital.

TMGM Cent Account

TMGM offers a Cent Account in selected markets.

A cent-denominated account displays a $100 balance as 10,000 cents. This allows smaller economic position sizes and may suit traders testing automated strategies or moving from a demo account to live trading with less capital at risk.

TMGM advertises Cent Accounts from $15. Available instruments include major and minor forex pairs, gold, silver, oil and BTCUSD. The Cent Account has fewer instruments than the main account types.

Availability depends on the region, so it is not a universal TMGM option.

Does TMGM offer Islamic accounts?

Yes. TMGM offers swap-free options for eligible Edge and Classic accounts.

Swap-free does not mean every position can be held indefinitely without another charge. TMGM publishes financing charges for certain instruments after an initial grace period. Traders seeking Sharia-compliant trading should read the current Swap Free Account terms before opening a position.

Who should choose TMGM?

TMGM suits:

  • Active forex traders who want raw spreads
  • MT4 and MT5 users
  • Algorithmic traders using Expert Advisors
  • Traders who value a $7 round-turn raw forex account
  • Australian clients who specifically open under the ASIC-regulated entity
  • Traders wanting forex alongside indices, shares, commodities and crypto CFDs

Edge is the better fit for active traders who compare all-in forex costs and are comfortable with a separate commission.

Who should avoid TMGM?

TMGM may not suit traders who:

  • You require cTrader
  • Native TradingView execution is essential
  • You want long-term ownership of shares rather than leveraged share CFDs
  • You do not understand leveraged CFD risk
  • Your account would be offshore and you specifically require ASIC-style retail protection
  • Overnight financing is a major component of your strategy and a competing broker offers materially better swap rates

TMGM does not need to be the best broker for every type of trader. Its main case is MetaTrader-based forex and CFD trading.

TMGM review verdict

TMGM is a credible and competitive forex and CFD broker, with the Edge account standing out for active MT4 and MT5 traders.

The combination of raw spreads from 0.0 pips, a $7 round-turn forex commission, automated-trading support and a broad CFD range gives TMGM a legitimate place on a broker shortlist. Independent 2026 spread testing broadly supports its competitive-pricing proposition.

The biggest decision factor is not the spread, however. It is which TMGM entity will hold your account.

An Australian retail account with Trademax Australia Limited sits under ASIC's CFD rules, including leverage restrictions and negative balance protection. An account with one of TMGM's offshore entities operates under a different regulatory framework and can offer much higher leverage.

Our call: TMGM is worth considering for active MetaTrader traders, particularly through the Edge account. Confirm the legal entity, current fees and withdrawal conditions before depositing meaningful capital.

Frequently asked questions about TMGM

Is TMGM regulated?

Yes. TMGM operates regulated entities in Australia, Vanuatu, Seychelles and Mauritius. Trademax Australia Limited is regulated by ASIC under AFSL 436416.

Is TMGM safe for beginners?

TMGM itself is an established regulated broker, but leveraged CFDs are high-risk products. Beginners should not confuse broker legitimacy with low investment risk. Australian retail CFD accounts receive additional ASIC protections, including leverage caps and negative balance protection.

What is the minimum deposit at TMGM?

TMGM's main website currently advertises a $100 minimum deposit, although some TMGM pages state there is no minimum and selected Cent Accounts start from $15. Check the requirement shown during registration for your jurisdiction and account type.

Is the TMGM Edge or Classic account better?

The Edge account is generally better for frequent and higher-volume forex traders because it offers raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a $7 round-turn commission per standard forex lot. Classic has no separate commission but spreads start from approximately 1.0 pip.

Does TMGM offer 1:1000 leverage?

TMGM advertises leverage of up to 1:1000 under some offshore account arrangements. Australian retail clients cannot receive 1:1000 leverage because ASIC caps major-forex CFD leverage at 30:1 and applies lower limits to other asset classes.

Can you withdraw money from TMGM?

TMGM provides bank and electronic withdrawal methods and advertises no TMGM fee on many supported options. Public customer reviews contain both successful withdrawal reports and complaints about delays or disputes, so completing a small withdrawal before maintaining a large balance is a sensible practical test.

CFDs and leveraged forex products involve significant risk. This review evaluates TMGM as a broker and does not constitute personal investment advice.
