Overview

Grand Capital is an offshore forex and CFD broker with an active brokerage licence from the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA) in the Union of the Comoros. However, Grand Capital would not be our first choice for traders who can use a well-regulated broker authorised in their own country.

The reason is investor protection rather than trading software. Grand Capital offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, a $10 Micro account, hundreds of trading instruments and leverage reaching 1:3000 on some accounts. The bigger concern is that its regulatory protection is relatively weak, several national regulators have previously warned that Grand Capital was not authorised in their jurisdictions, and its Financial Commission membership ended on 2 April 2026.

Grand Capital is not automatically a scam simply because it operates offshore. There is an identifiable legal entity and MISA currently lists Grand Capital Limited with active brokerage licence BFX2024219. But an offshore licence is not equivalent to protection from regulators such as the UK Financial Conduct Authority, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission or an EU national regulator.

Is Grand Capital regulated?

Yes. Grand Capital Limited is currently listed by MISA as an authorised brokerage company under licence BFX2024219.

The Mwali International Services Authority register lists Grand Capital Limited with licence number BFX2024219 and an active status. Grand Capital's own website also identifies Grand Capital Ltd as a Seychelles-registered company licensed and regulated by MISA in the Union of the Comoros.

That answers whether Grand Capital has a licence. It does not completely answer whether Grand Capital is a safe broker.

The more useful question is what protection that licence provides if the broker fails, a withdrawal is disputed or a customer disagrees with how a trade has been handled.

Grand Capital previously had an additional layer through the Financial Commission, an independent external dispute-resolution organisation for brokers. That protection changed in 2026.

Is Grand Capital still a member of the Financial Commission?

No. Grand Capital voluntarily withdrew from the Financial Commission effective 2 April 2026.

The Financial Commission confirmed that it would no longer process new complaints against Grand Capital after that date. Grand Capital customers are also no longer eligible for reimbursement through the organisation's compensation fund while the broker remains a non-member.

Older Grand Capital reviews may still mention Financial Commission membership or compensation of up to €20,000. Those reviews are out of date on this point.

For customers assessing Grand Capital in 2026, the relevant regulatory protection comes from its MISA licence. The former Financial Commission membership no longer applies to new complaints.

Has Grand Capital received regulatory warnings?

Yes. Several regulators have previously warned that Grand Capital was not authorised to provide investment services in their jurisdictions.

Those warnings do not automatically mean that Grand Capital's current MISA licence is invalid. They show that an offshore licence does not give a broker permission to provide regulated services in every country.

Before opening an account, confirm that Grand Capital is allowed to serve residents of your country. Its MISA licence does not provide worldwide authorisation.

Is Grand Capital a scam?

There is not enough evidence to responsibly state that Grand Capital itself is a scam. There is, however, enough regulatory and customer-risk evidence to justify substantial caution.

Grand Capital appears on MISA's current authorised brokerage register, which distinguishes it from a completely unlicensed website using a fictitious licence.

At the same time, potential customers should not ignore the previous national regulatory warnings, offshore regulatory structure or loss of Financial Commission protection.

There is another complication: scammers have impersonated Grand Capital.

Grand Capital itself has warned about people using its name to solicit money or personal information and has told customers to verify that they are dealing through genuine Grand Capital channels.

That means the correct due-diligence question is not simply “Does Grand Capital exist?” It is:

  • Is this the genuine Grand Capital website?
  • Is Grand Capital authorised to serve customers where I live?
  • What regulatory protection applies to my account?
  • What happens if I need to dispute a withdrawal or trading decision?

Those checks should happen before depositing money.

What trading platforms does Grand Capital offer?

Grand Capital offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and WebTrader.

Standard, Micro and other account configurations use MT4. Grand Capital also offers a dedicated MT5 account with algorithmic trading through the MQL5 environment, strategy testing and more than 400 instruments, according to its current account documentation.

The platform range suits traders who already use Expert Advisors, custom indicators or MetaTrader-based strategies. Platform choice is one of Grand Capital's stronger features.

Grand Capital account types and minimum deposits

Grand Capital offers several account structures with different deposit requirements and trading conditions.

AccountMinimum depositKey characteristic
Micro$10Cent-denominated account for smaller positions
Standard$100General-purpose MT4 account
MT5$100MetaTrader 5 and algorithmic trading
ECN Prime$500Lower spreads and ECN-style execution
Swap Free$100No conventional overnight swap

The Micro account starts at $10. Standard and MT5 accounts start at $100, while ECN Prime requires at least $500.

A $10 minimum deposit makes the broker accessible with little capital. It does not make trading low risk.

How much leverage does Grand Capital offer?

Grand Capital advertises leverage as high as 1:3000 for ECN Prime accounts under certain equity levels.

Grand Capital uses floating leverage, meaning the maximum available leverage changes according to account equity. Its published specifications show leverage reducing as equity rises. Grand Capital has also stated that ECN Prime leverage can reach 1:3000 for smaller account balances.

This is exceptionally high leverage.

At 1:3000 leverage, the margin required to control a position is approximately 0.033% of its notional value. That does not mean a 0.033% adverse move will always liquidate an account because actual liquidation depends on free margin, position sizing, spreads, other positions and stop-out rules. It does show how quickly risk can become disproportionate if the maximum leverage is actually used.

High leverage is therefore an option, not an advantage by itself.

What are Grand Capital's spreads and commissions?

Grand Capital's trading costs vary by account and instrument, so there is no single spread figure that represents the whole broker.

The MT5 account advertises spreads from 0.4. ECN Prime also advertises low spreads with commissions. Grand Capital's contract specifications list different spreads, swaps and commissions for different instruments.

Compare the full cost of the market you plan to trade, including:

  • bid-ask spread
  • commission
  • overnight swap or financing
  • currency conversion
  • deposit and withdrawal charges
  • slippage during volatile markets

A comparison based only on a broker's "spreads from" figure may not reflect the cost of a typical trade.

Grand Capital deposits and withdrawals

Grand Capital offers bank cards, electronic payment systems, cryptocurrencies and various local payment methods. Availability differs by country.

Deposits are often advertised with Grand Capital compensating the payment fee, but withdrawals can carry meaningful charges.

For example, Grand Capital's current payment table lists a 5% plus $1 bank-card withdrawal charge, a 1% FasaPay withdrawal charge and a 2% Binance Pay withdrawal charge. Some electronic withdrawals can take up to three days, while cryptocurrency network fees can depend on the blockchain used. These conditions can change and vary by payment method.

This is an area where prospective customers should check the live withdrawal table before depositing.

A broker offering a zero-cost deposit does not necessarily offer a zero-cost withdrawal.

Grand Capital also states that withdrawals should generally use the same payment method used for the original deposit, reflecting standard anti-money-laundering controls.

What do Grand Capital customer reviews say?

Grand Capital's customer reviews are sharply divided.

As of September 2026, its Trustpilot profile shows a TrustScore of 2.5 out of 5 from 92 reviews. About 52% of the reviews are five-star ratings, while 41% are one-star ratings. Trustpilot also says that the profile has been merged with one or more related profiles.

The split between very positive and very negative reviews matters more than the average score alone. It points to very different reported experiences.

Recent negative reviews include allegations about withdrawals, bonus conditions and unwanted sales contact. Positive reviews include reports of efficient service and successful payments. These are individual customer claims, not independently confirmed regulatory findings.

Complaints about access to funds deserve more attention than complaints about interface design. Review platforms are still only one part of broker due diligence.

Grand Capital pros and cons

Advantages

  • MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are available.
  • The Micro account starts with a $10 deposit.
  • ECN Prime offers high leverage and lower-spread trading conditions.
  • Grand Capital provides hundreds of forex and CFD instruments.
  • Multiple regional and cryptocurrency payment methods are supported.
  • MISA currently lists Grand Capital Limited's brokerage licence as active.

Disadvantages

  • Regulation is offshore rather than through a major domestic financial regulator.
  • Grand Capital left the Financial Commission in April 2026.
  • Financial Commission compensation protection no longer applies to new Grand Capital complaints.
  • Grand Capital has previously been the subject of unauthorised-firm warnings from several national regulators.
  • Customer reviews are heavily polarised.
  • Withdrawal charges can be substantial for some payment methods.
  • Maximum leverage of 1:3000 creates extreme risk if used aggressively.

Who is Grand Capital best suited to?

Grand Capital makes the most sense for an experienced, risk-tolerant forex or CFD trader who specifically values MetaTrader, offshore account flexibility and unusually high leverage.

Even for that trader, the regulatory trade-off needs to be deliberate.

Grand Capital is harder to justify for someone whose priorities are capital protection, strong statutory investor safeguards or access to a domestic financial ombudsman.

Beginners may be attracted by the $10 Micro account, but the presence of a small minimum deposit and very high leverage is not a reason to choose a broker. A beginner should prioritise regulation and risk controls before leverage or bonuses.

Who should avoid Grand Capital?

Grand Capital is unlikely to suit you if:

  • a well-regulated broker is available in your own country
  • you want statutory investor compensation protection
  • regulatory strength is more important to you than high leverage
  • you live in one of Grand Capital's excluded jurisdictions
  • you are uncomfortable using an offshore financial-services provider
  • you are attracted mainly by bonuses rather than the underlying trading conditions

Grand Capital's terms exclude residents of multiple countries, including the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Japan and Seychelles.

Is Grand Capital safe for withdrawals?

Grand Capital provides defined withdrawal processes and publishes fees and estimated processing periods, but no broker can be judged safe for withdrawals purely from its own payment documentation.

The loss of Financial Commission membership is particularly relevant here. Since 2 April 2026, the Financial Commission no longer accepts new Grand Capital complaints and its compensation fund does not protect Grand Capital customers.

If someone decides to use Grand Capital despite the regulatory trade-off, a sensible risk-control process is to deposit a small amount first, complete KYC, place normal trades and test a genuine withdrawal before committing materially more capital.

Avoid assuming that a successful deposit proves that withdrawals will be equally straightforward.

Is Grand Capital legit or worth using in 2026?

Grand Capital is a licensed offshore broker, but we would choose a reputable broker regulated in the trader's home jurisdiction before choosing Grand Capital.

The broker has genuine strengths. Grand Capital offers MT4 and MT5, a low-entry Micro account, hundreds of markets, multiple payment methods and leverage that can reach 1:3000. MISA currently lists its brokerage licence BFX2024219 as active.

The issue is the other side of the risk-reward equation.

Grand Capital's Financial Commission membership ended in April 2026. Several regulators have previously warned about Grand Capital providing services without local authorisation. Its Trustpilot profile is heavily split between five-star and one-star reviews. Some withdrawal methods also carry significant fees.

Our final verdict: Grand Capital may appeal to experienced traders specifically seeking offshore conditions and extreme leverage, but regulatory protection is the weak point. If a strongly regulated broker is available in your jurisdiction with comparable markets and platforms, that is the option we would investigate first.

Before depositing with Grand Capital, verify licence BFX2024219 directly against the MISA register, confirm that Grand Capital can legally serve residents of your country, read the current withdrawal and bonus terms, and test the withdrawal process with a small amount before putting significant capital at risk.
