How to track multiple trading accounts

Keep each broker, prop firm, or sim setup as its own trading account, then use the account switcher to choose which accounts show in your journal and reports.

Add as many accounts as your plan allows, then filter by account anywhere in the app.Add as many accounts as your plan allows, then filter by account anywhere in the app.

Create another trading account

  1. Open the account switcher in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Create account. Rize Trade opens Add Trades.
  3. Choose the broker and import method, then bring in trades for that account.

New accounts default to the name Main Account. Name each account clearly so you can tell them apart.

Switch between accounts

  1. Open the account switcher in the left sidebar.
  2. Choose All accounts to include every account together.
  3. Or open My accounts and select one or more account names.

The switcher button shows All accounts, a single account name, N accounts, or No accounts selected. If nothing is selected, reports show an empty state.

Review and manage your accounts

  1. Open the account switcher and select Manage accounts.
  2. Rize Trade opens Reports > Accounts.
  3. Each row shows Account name, Broker, performance, balance, last update and actions.

Archive, transfer, or clean up an account

Common actions include Transfer Data, Archive Account, clear trades, or delete an account.

Archived accounts keep their history and free up an active account slot. Deleting an account permanently removes its trades.

Keep live and sim results separate

Import paper, simulator and prop firm trades into their own trading accounts so they never mix with live P&L.
