What to check first

Confirm regional availability, the regulated entity, leverage limits and rollover costs. Forex and CFD losses can accumulate quickly.

Overview

MultiBank Group is a legitimate, multi-regulated forex and CFD broker, but it is not an automatic recommendation for every trader. Its strongest points are its large regulatory footprint, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 support, more than 20,000 advertised instruments and a Standard account starting with a $50 minimum deposit. The main reasons for caution are the major differences in protection between MultiBank Group entities, relatively expensive entry-level spreads, a $10,000 minimum for its raw-spread ECN account and current concerns around its public review profile.

Our verdict: MultiBank Group is worth considering if you can open your account under a strong regulated entity and you value broad market access. Before depositing substantial capital, verify the legal entity named in your client agreement and complete a small deposit-and-withdrawal test.

MultiBank Group should not simply be judged by how many regulatory licences appear on its marketing pages. The specific MultiBank Group company holding your account determines your regulator, leverage limits, complaint route and available protections.

MultiBank Group's account comparison page lists a $50 minimum for the Standard account, $1,000 for Pro and $10,000 for ECN. It also advertises more than 20,000 instruments across forex, commodities, metals, indices, shares and cryptocurrencies.

Is MultiBank Group legit?

Yes. MultiBank Group is a real financial-services group with multiple regulated subsidiaries. There is no reasonable basis from the regulatory records reviewed here to describe MultiBank Group itself as an unlicensed scam operation.

For example, MEX Australia Pty Ltd is authorised by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission under AFSL 416279. MEX Europe Ltd appears on the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission register with licence 430/23. MultiBank Group also lists entities overseen by regulators including the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, UAE Securities and Commodities Authority and British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission.

That answer needs one important qualification.

A regulated corporate group is not the same thing as every customer receiving identical regulatory protection. A trader contracted with an ASIC or CySEC entity may have a materially different legal and regulatory position from a trader using an offshore MultiBank Group company.

The first question before funding a MultiBank account should therefore be:

> Which exact legal entity will hold my account?

Check the client agreement rather than relying only on the MultiBank Group brand name.

How is MultiBank Group regulated?

MultiBank Group operates through several entities with different regulators and licence references.

MultiBank Group entityRegulatorLicence or reference

MEX Global Financial Services LLCSCA, UAE20200000045
MultiBank FX International CorporationBVI FSCSIBA/L/14/1068

MultiBank Group has a wider regulatory footprint than many retail CFD brokers. That licence count is not enough to assess an individual account, however. The regulator attached to your account matters more than the number of licences held across the wider group.

Is MultiBank Group regulated by the DFSA in Dubai?

No, not on the basis of the current information reviewed here. MultiBank Group should not be described as DFSA-regulated without a specific qualification.

Some third-party reviews still list the Dubai Financial Services Authority among MultiBank Group's regulators. The DFSA stated in November 2022 that MEX Australia Pty Ltd had voluntarily withdrawn its DFSA licence and was no longer authorised or regulated by the DFSA.

MultiBank Group's current regulatory materials instead identify MEX Global Financial Services LLC as regulated by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority.

Check current regulatory registers rather than relying on older broker reviews.

Is MultiBank Group safe?

MultiBank Group has a credible regulatory structure, but the level of protection depends on the entity holding the client's account.

MultiBank Group promotes segregated client funds and negative balance protection. It also advertises excess-loss insurance of up to $1 million for eligible MEX Atlantic clients through a Lloyd's of London policy.

This distinction matters more than a generic "safe broker" badge.

Use this process before depositing a large amount:

  • Identify the exact company named in the client agreement.
  • Verify that company on the regulator's own register.
  • Check what client-money, negative-balance, compensation and dispute-resolution protections apply to that entity.
  • Complete KYC before depositing significant money.
  • Run a small withdrawal before increasing the account balance.

This tells you more about the account you will actually use than the number of regulator logos on the broker's website.

MultiBank Group account types and spreads

MultiBank Group offers three primary trading accounts: Standard, Pro and ECN. The MultiBank Standard Account has the lowest deposit requirement and the widest advertised forex spread. The minimum initial deposit is $50. Spreads start from 1.5 pips, with no separate commission listed. The account may suit traders who place relatively few trades and want to start with a small deposit. For active forex traders, the spread is less attractive than the pricing on the Pro and ECN accounts. The Pro Account offers a middle ground between the deposit requirement and the advertised spread. The minimum deposit is $1,000. Spreads start from 0.8 pips, and the account remains commission-free according to the published comparison. For traders who can meet the higher deposit requirement, Pro pricing is more practical than Standard pricing for regular trading. The ECN Account has MultiBank Group's tightest advertised spreads, but its $10,000 minimum deposit is high for most retail traders. MultiBank Group advertises spreads from 0.0 pips. Its public comparison page does not clearly show the ECN commission alongside that spread. Independent 2026 reviewers have reported a commission of about $3 per lot per side, although published descriptions are inconsistent. Confirm the current commission for your specific entity before calculating the account's trading costs. A 0.0 pip spread does not mean the account is commission-free. For most traders comparing the three accounts, Pro is the practical middle option. Standard is easier to open but costs more to trade actively. ECN is mainly suited to larger, higher-volume traders who can meet the deposit requirement.

Standard Account

The MultiBank Standard Account has the lowest barrier to entry but the weakest headline forex pricing.

The Standard account requires a minimum initial deposit of $50 and advertises spreads starting from 1.5 pips with no separate commission. It suits traders who place a relatively small number of trades and prioritise a low initial deposit over tight spreads.

Pro Account

The Pro Account is the most balanced MultiBank Group account for many regular traders.

The minimum deposit rises to $1,000, while advertised spreads start from 0.8 pips and the account remains commission-free. For traders who can comfortably meet the higher deposit requirement, that is materially more attractive than paying the Standard account's wider spread.

ECN Account

The ECN Account offers MultiBank Group's tightest advertised spreads, but the $10,000 minimum deposit is unusually demanding for retail traders.

MultiBank Group advertises spreads from 0.0 pips and a $10,000 minimum deposit. Its public comparison page does not clearly display the ECN commission alongside those headline figures. Independent 2026 reviewers have reported approximately $3 per lot per side, although published descriptions of the commission structure are inconsistent. Traders should therefore confirm the current commission directly for their specific entity rather than calculating costs from the 0.0-pip headline alone.

For most traders choosing solely between the three accounts, Pro is the practical middle ground. Standard is easier to open but more expensive to trade actively, while ECN becomes attractive mainly for sufficiently capitalised, higher-volume traders.

Are MultiBank Group's trading fees competitive?

MultiBank Group's Pro and ECN pricing can be competitive, while the Standard account is less appealing for active forex trading.

The published minimum spreads are:

  • Standard: from 1.5 pips
  • Pro: from 0.8 pips
  • ECN: from 0.0 pips plus commission

A trader who opens and closes large forex positions regularly may save more through a tighter spread than by choosing an account with the lowest minimum deposit.

Minimum spread is only one part of the calculation. Compare the full trading cost, including:

Several independent MultiBank reviews also report an inactivity charge under some entities. Fees can vary by location, so check the client agreement for your account rather than applying a charge reported for another jurisdiction.

What can you trade with MultiBank Group?

MultiBank Group is particularly strong on breadth of CFD markets.

The broker currently advertises access to more than 20,000 instruments covering forex, metals, shares, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies. Much of that large number comes from its extensive share-CFD catalogue.

The large instrument count makes MultiBank Group more interesting to traders who want to use a single CFD broker for currencies, equity indices and individual company shares.

Remember that these are primarily leveraged trading products rather than conventional long-term ownership of the underlying investments.

What trading platforms does MultiBank Group offer?

MultiBank Group supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, its own mobile app and web trading.

MT4 remains useful for forex traders, Expert Advisors and existing automated strategies. MT5 adds more multi-asset functionality, charting timeframes, pending-order types, Depth of Market and an integrated economic calendar.

MultiBank Group also offers browser and mobile trading options. Social and copy trading are available within parts of its platform ecosystem.

Traders who already use MT4 or MT5 should face little platform-learning friction.

What leverage does MultiBank Group offer?

MultiBank Group's available leverage depends on the regulated entity and the client's jurisdiction.

Its own current pages illustrate why the entity distinction matters. Some MultiBank pages advertise leverage of up to 1:500, while another current account-comparison page displays leverage up to 1:1000.

Those figures should not be interpreted as leverage automatically available to every retail client. Regulatory restrictions can impose substantially lower limits.

The practical lesson is simple: ignore the group's maximum marketing number and check the leverage stated for your specific entity, account and instrument.

Higher leverage is not an inherent advantage. It increases capital efficiency, but it also magnifies losses.

Does MultiBank Group have withdrawal problems?

MultiBank Group publicly promotes fast withdrawal processing, and independent testing has documented successful withdrawals, but there is also enough negative withdrawal feedback that prospective customers should test the process themselves.

MultiBank Group states that funds can be processed for withdrawal within 24 hours. An independent 2026 test by BrokersProfile reported that a $150 card withdrawal was approved by MultiBank on the same business day and arrived after four business days including card-network settlement. A $250 bank-wire withdrawal was internally processed within 24 hours and arrived after three business days.

That is positive evidence.

However, the same independent review found a notable volume of third-party complaints involving delayed withdrawals, additional verification requests and disputes around account or promotional conditions. The reviewers did not reproduce those problems in their own withdrawal tests.

Customer complaints therefore should not be presented as proof that MultiBank Group systematically refuses withdrawals. Equally, two successful test withdrawals are not proof that every withdrawal will be trouble-free.

The useful conclusion is operational rather than dramatic:

Deposit a modest amount, execute normal trading activity and withdraw part of the balance before committing serious capital.

That converts somebody else's review into evidence from your own account.

What do MultiBank Group reviews say?

The Trustpilot situation deserves more weight than a standard star-rating summary.

As of September 2026, Trustpilot is not displaying an aggregate MultiBank Group rating because of a breach of its guidelines. Trustpilot says it removed a number of fake reviews associated with the company profile.

This does not prove that MultiBank Group itself is fraudulent or establish who created every removed review. It does mean the historical Trustpilot score should not be treated as dependable evidence of customer satisfaction.

The remaining reviews are mixed. Some customers report successful withdrawals and helpful support. Others allege withdrawal delays, account restrictions or poor communication.

Regulatory status and a withdrawal from your own account are better evidence than either a five-star testimonial or an anonymous one-star complaint.

MultiBank Group pros and cons

What MultiBank Group does well

  • Multiple regulated entities across major and offshore jurisdictions
  • $50 entry point through the Standard account
  • MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 support
  • More than 20,000 advertised CFDs and other instruments
  • Particularly large share-CFD selection
  • Pro account provides a useful compromise between deposit size and spreads
  • Raw-spread ECN option for larger traders
  • Eligible MEX Atlantic clients can receive additional excess-loss insurance

Where MultiBank Group is weaker

  • Investor protection varies materially between entities
  • Standard spreads starting from 1.5 pips are not especially attractive for active trading
  • $10,000 ECN minimum is high
  • ECN commission information is less transparent than the headline spread
  • Some MultiBank pages publish different maximum-leverage figures
  • Trustpilot currently suppresses its overall rating after removing fake reviews
  • Withdrawal-related complaints appear frequently enough to justify testing the withdrawal process before depositing heavily

Who should consider MultiBank Group?

MultiBank Group may suit traders who want broad market coverage, MetaTrader compatibility and access to an established multi-jurisdictional broker group.

It is worth considering if:

  • your country gives you access to one of MultiBank Group's stronger regulated entities;
  • you want MT4 or MT5;
  • you trade multiple CFD asset classes;
  • the $1,000 Pro-account requirement fits your capital; or
  • you are sufficiently capitalised to use the ECN account and its raw pricing.

Who should avoid MultiBank Group?

MultiBank Group is less suitable if you want the lowest possible raw-spread account with a small deposit, dislike multi-entity broker structures or want a broker with a cleaner third-party review record.

Risk-averse traders should also avoid choosing an offshore MultiBank entity solely to obtain higher leverage when a more strongly protected local entity is available.

The regulator attached to your money matters more than the leverage figure in an advertisement.

Is MultiBank Group a scam?

No evidence reviewed for this MultiBank Group review supports calling the wider group a scam.

However, "not a scam" is a very low standard for choosing a financial broker.

Before opening an account, assess the entity holding your money, the trading costs, the complaint history, the withdrawal process and the protections available in your jurisdiction.

Is MultiBank Group good for beginners?

MultiBank Group is accessible to beginners because its Standard account starts at $50. The account is not necessarily the best-value option for frequent trading, however.

A beginner should use the demo account first, learn how leveraged CFDs work and trade real money only after deciding how much they can afford to lose.

A $50 entry point makes the account easy to open. It does not make CFD trading low risk.

Does MultiBank Group accept US clients?

MultiBank Group does not generally accept US retail clients for its forex and CFD brokerage services. Regional entities restrict availability according to residence and regulatory requirements. Confirm eligibility during registration rather than assuming that the group accepts clients in your country.

Final verdict: is MultiBank Group worth using?

MultiBank Group is a credible broker worth considering, but the answer depends on the entity that will hold your account.

The positive case is clear: the group offers several regulatory routes, MT4 and MT5, more than 20,000 advertised instruments, a $50 starting deposit and tighter pricing through the Pro and ECN tiers.

The drawbacks are also clear. Standard account spreads are not ideal for active trading, ECN access requires a $10,000 deposit, protection varies between entities and the Trustpilot warning reduces the value of the broker's historical public rating.

The right process is simple:

1. Confirm the legal entity and regulator. 2. Read the account terms. 3. Fund the account modestly. 4. Complete a withdrawal. 5. Increase the balance only after the account works satisfactorily for your jurisdiction.

That is a better basis for choosing MultiBank Group than its licence count or another customer's star rating.
