Who invented pivot points?

Pivot points were not invented by a single person; floor traders collectively developed them in the early 20th century on stock and futures exchanges.

It wasn't invented by one person but by a group of floor investors. They took the previous day's high, low and close prices to determine the current day's pivot point.

Later variations carry their creators' names: Camarilla Pivot Points were invented by Nick Scott in the late 1980's, and DeMark Pivot Points were developed by Tom DeMark, a well known market technician and developer of indicators and systems
